Only one lift in operation during the two days of our stay. This caused problems for customers leaving and arriving with heavy cases and long delays.

My room was very, very small and the bed rather uncomfortable and tiny- more a child's bed than a proper twin bed.

The lifts failing - 2 out of 3 - caused some long delays. No extraction fan in en-suite toilet / bathroom. Do you offer Senior rates? I did not ask at time of booking. I'm 67.

Hotel very easily accessed above the Charing Cross station although I would be cautious about being alone at night in this area so proximity of station very useful . Staff were very helpful and security was good. Excellent breakfast and pleasant comfortable dining room

The hotel is very clean, central and we felt £50 per night was good value for money.

Breakfast was good ,although there was a relaxed/lazy attitude of some staff. Rooms, basic but clean, very comfortable beds.Reception staff generally good, but maybe not that customer aware in the 'wee hours'. Good location, excellent fpr 747 airport service. 8 out of 10

My room was set to baltic conditions on arrival and never managed to warm up during my stay. So much so, I was forced to go down to reception to ask for a heater. I was forced to go down to reception because the bedroom phone was not only unplugged but no plug was attached to the end of the line. Staff managed to find a heater but offer no apology or offer of compensation. The room was unusually small, although bed was comfy and clean. Bathroom was spotless. Staff were indifferent

Rooms were clean, but tired. Main problem was staff competence and attitude.First room I was shown to had no lights, and over just two nights they managed to lock me out of my room (by keycard issues) twice. As for the guarantee they supposedly offer about getting your money back if everything isn't to your satisfaction, well they charge you upfront and compeletely avoid mentioning it.

When i got there they had no record of the booking reference number even though prior to arrival, I had spoken to someone to confirm my arrival time as I was running late. There had obviously been a shift change and the person on duty had no idea I was coming. This caused me delay in getting to my room and I was very tierd after a six hour journey, I wonder how this could have happened.

hotel room was good although there was a slight smell coming from the carpet! we have stayed at a few premier inn hotels and haven't felt the need to complain about anything. Getting to hotel was easy. and with a carpark right next to it, it was very convenient! Just around the corner there's loads of night life! so on the whole 10 out of 10!

Excellent room - very clean , huge double bed , air con etc. Top location, many bars, clubs & restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend to others. Will be my place of choice to stay in Glasgow- which we do often. On 6th floor , very quiet.

We arrived at the hotel and found the decor generally to be pretty drab and generally in need of renovation. The room was on the corner of the building and triangular in shape! This made things a little tight and awkward moving around the room. Facilities in the room were clean but basic although it did have a flat screen TV with freview channels. Just as well we had received a substantial discount through LateRooms as normal room pricing is £99/night which is far, far too high for what is on offer. The main selling point of the hotel is its location and access to the City Centre

The hotel was very clean and check-in was quick and efficient. Good sized double-room and en-sute bathroom made a good impression and really was one of the better "budget" hotels I've stayed in - I genuinely would have no reservations about going back. A few small gripes though: We were right above the Railway Station which is next to the hotel, and could hear the regular tannoy announcements. This didn't disturb us at night because they finished around 11 or 12, this could be an issue if you're looking for an early night. Check-out was a disaster. All we wanted to do was drop off the key-card and leave, but we had to wait around 20 mins in a "rugby-scrum" style queue just to hand over the card. Reception worked very well when it was quiet, but was frustratingly slow when it was a bit busier. As another reviewer has said, there is a strip-club literally 50m from the main entrance. There were no problems during our stay, and there was no noise or anything, but this could be an issue for families and it may not be the best area to be walking to late at night.Despite the small issue with the check-out, there were no problems to speak of. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel location is great for Glasgow's city centre.
