Premier Apartments Newcastle assessmentThe building was intended as a high end apartment near the city centre but was converted to a hotel. You are therefore renting an apartment, not a conventional hotel; no room service, bell hops, etc. It was so nice, however to have a home to come to. I have family in Newcastle and we made a real "home cooked" dinner and had a pleasant evening together. It is very close to some fine Chinese restaurants and is within easy walking distance of the Tyne. If you are used to the usual city noises, it is relatively quiet. We will be going back next summer and I will be booking for a week. Only complaint was that were only place settings for four and we had to import some extra dishes.

The accommodation was very nice and spacious and staff at reception were helpful (although not night security!). Good central location. The only problem was the apartments were very warm (although it was a very hot weekend) and the windows didn't open properly.

lovely accommadation, consideration has to be given to replacing heavily marked carpets and rugs throughout the apartment.

Was well impressed with the apartments. Spacious, modern decor and clean throughout. Were also situated in a perfect location just 5 min walk from train station and city centre bars and restraunts etc. Highly recommend.

Booking not honoured, but helpful staffAbout a week before we were due to stay, we received a call from Premier apartments informing us that the room would not be available as they had long-term guests who had decided to extend their stay. They did however find us alternative nearby accomodation in the Royal Station Hotel in Newcastle at the same rate and waived any fee on parking.

University open dayMy teenage daughter didnt want to be in a hotel room on her own.The appartments were a perfect solution. We found them very clean and close to China Town, and the Gate. All in all could find no faults with accommodation.

Vibrant Newcastle and Premiere AppartmentsNewcastle, as everyone knows, is THE city for fun and nightlife, but easily ruined by staying in a noisy location. Premiere appartments are situated in the centre of Newcastle next to the Tyne theatre. Despite being close to all amenities, China town a stones throw away, the location is very quiet. The comfortable, clean and well equipped appartments are truly 4 star quality. I would advise anyone thinking of a stay in Newcastle to check out the appartments before booking elsewhere and dont forget your bacon and buns. GREAT.

NewcastleI was very impressed with our room and we were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a 2 bed apartment - tons of space for the two of us! It was a shame we were only staying one night. The location of the apartments was excellent for the city centre. One downfall - it took us a while to find the car park as the Yell.com map directions had a right turn on Westgate Road and that road had been pedestrianised, therefore we spent about 10/15 mins driving round and round until we found the correct road to get us to the car park! maybe this could be updated on the website? i would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to friends who are doing the Great North Run.

Home from home!Having stayed in other self catering apartments we could not believe the size of the apartment and how well equipped it was. The kitchen truly is like a kitchen at home! Nothing was squashed, you had a kitchen/diner 2 large bedrooms and a large bathroom.

Highly recomended!I booked an apartment in Newcastle for my friend and I to stay in the night before my wedding and for my husband and I the night of our wedding. The accommodation was excellent, a really spacious, fully-equipped apartment. The rooms were all immaculate and finished to a high decorative standard. The apartments were well placed for Newcastle's shops, cafes and restaurants. Stowell street is just around the corner and there is also an excellent pan-asian restaurant called 'Barn Asia' on Waterloo Square, about 200 yards away! Staff were also very friendly. We would certainly stay here again!

Always fantastic!3rd time I've stayed in teh last year and the apartments never fail to meet up. Stayed in teh 2 bedroom this time and would encourage anyone to spend that little more - great amount of space - and it's just like being away from home.

Accommodation - Good Overall Stayed in a 2 bedroom Apartment (No.11) and found it to be very clean and comfortable. This was my first time using these (or any) Apartments and it made a refreshing change from staying in a hotel which is a very common occurrence for me. The only down side to the Apartment I was staying in was stained carpets, replacement of which would help to freshen the place up.Location is excellent with 'The Gate' & 'China Town' only 4-5 minutes walk.I would certainly recommend these Apartments for those wishing something different to a hotel stay.My positive experience has led me to book for next week aswell.

Staff were very helpful - both before when I changed my booking and during the stay. Location was fine; its not by any of the great views of Newcastle (Quayside for example) but it is within 5-10 minutes walk of most places. We liked the American Diner on Pink Lane, and the Salsa Cafe just 2 doors away. Other good bars by Central Station included Tokyo which has a great roof top terrace. I was worried that the locals crowding around the bar opposite might continue through the night but come midnight, it all went quiet in time for a good nights sleep. The accommodation was good value, though you could see a little bit of wear and tear starting in some of our bedrooms. All the equipment you'd expect was there. I was a little disappointed there was no milk left in the fridge on arrival, just a few crummy mini sachets of uht milk. Personally too, I believe that free wifi should be available (you had to pay for it). I mean even McDonalds offers free wifi!!

First class furnishing with plenty of room don’t be put off by view of apartments from outside! This accommodation sleeps 4 (two couples) easily. Ideal for St James Park or Newcastle Arena.
