| Apartments St. Nicholas Prague
Do not be fooled by the pictures, on the web , about this place. This place is the worst of the worst!! My room was dirty smelled, like it had been hosed down and closed up for 6 months. It was not clean when clean when we arrived at 2pm.
We took pictures to prove it, they sure did not look anything like the one posted on the we.
We wanted room for for people and in this place hardly would fit 3. The apartments are on the third floor with very narrow staircase, so if you have suitcases good luck to carry them upstairs or is elder person, you will have no chance with those stairs. The apartments are located inside of a driveway with no signs where to go what so ever. They share this with outside restaurant. The restaurant stuff is using this place for smoke and putting a make up on (they really don't care about the customers ), they were very rude when we asked them a questions where to go find the apartments or where the restroom was. |

| The location was excellent, within walking distance of everything, including the metro. We loved it there and recomend it to everyone, who`s not too much of a party person, cause noises travel wery easily in the building. Not the best beds, and bad water pressure, but other than that, no complaints. |

| There wasn't bed clothes. We had to sleep directly on the mattress, wich smell so bad. The wooden floor was very old and made a lot of noise. Poor cleaning. |

| Apartment: Good points: Excellent location, less than 10 mins amble from Old Town Square. Spacious (although the lounge and the 2nd bedroom is the same room!) Feels safe - its opposite the police station Bad points: Not particularly clean. Very noisy at night with people returning from the pub. The "assistant" who met us supposedly had very little English and gave us a bill for an amount a good bit larger than agreed. Thankfully we had a print out of the price and he reduced it, but then feigned no change. Just saying I'd keep one of the 1000Kc notes and leave behind the difference suddenly improved his English and he went off for 30 seconds and found some change! Lots of annoying notes on the walls saying "Please tip the cleaner if your happy with the cleaning" and "Please don't wake the neighbours." but no useful sign like where the nearest shop was! We found a Tesco just off Wenceslas Square. It snowed while we were here and I had to phone up to ask for extra blankets as there was only one duvet! The good points make up for the bad points though, and it seemed good value for money. |
