Great propertyWe booked one night at this property. It's at a great location just off Porth beach at a quiet site street but only 2min from busy Nequay if you need the buzz of a busy town. A soon as we walked into the building I have noticed the clean and fresh smell. The room was lovely, very clean and a really good size with TV, tea maker etc. We will def return when back in Cornwall next.

Our short stay at the Porth Veor Manor HotelIt was just a short stay but it was a very pleasant one. The Receptionist was very helpful indeed, we had arrived 2 hrs later than we had informed but that wasn't an issue and we were shown to our room which was very comfortable, clean and of an excellent standard. We only used the restaurant for breakfast as we had met with friends for dinner in Newquay, but breakfast was good, a wide choice of hot & cold food . . . do try the Hogs Pudding it is fantastic.

We had a most relaxing stay. The hotel is was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everthing we needed to see or do was with in walking distance. Only one downside to the hotel and that was the width to the stairs up to the second floor.

Good location a short walk away from Porth beach. Allocated parking space near to villa. The villa itself is nearly new, well equiped and great accommodation for four people (one double and one twin bed room), not sure about the sofa bed in the open plan lounge/kitchen area but only four of us so not a factor. Unless you want to overlook the pool the villas with the beach view are in a nicer spot. Only stayed for a couple of days but would have liked to have been there longer.

brilliant! The villas are the perfect mix of independence with hotel facilities. Porth Beach is beautiful and relatively quiet but within easy walking distance of the other Newquay beaches. We had tea in the morning at our table next to the swimming pool and a glass of wine every night. Enormously relaxing!

AccommodationStaff very helpful and friendly. However, bed extremely uncomfortable and apparently "all the same" so couldn't swap for another room/bed. Bathroom tiny and although I'm not slim, I'm not huge either and I could just get into the shower as the door opening was so small. Unfortunately, because of the accommodation, we will not be staying there again. However, public areas very nice.

Superb!Having made an extremely last minute booking through late rooms we were delighted to find we had a 3 bed villa right in front of the pool. There was only 2 of us but villa was equipped to a high standard, location was amazing and walk to Porth beach and Newquay truly delightful. Will be back!! Great place for relaxtion. Restaurant delicious but hotel not far from jamie olivers Fifteen also so don't miss out on an evening there as stunning:-) All in all a lovely little gem and cant wait to take my family back there.

It was absolutey a good value for money through LateRooms.I would reccommend it to everyone who would like to spend a wonderful, relaxing time in Cornwall's most beautiful place. Great stay - highly recommended.Clean, modern apartment with excellent facilities, close to the beach and less than 10 minutes from Fistral beach (by car). The pool was small but clean and suitable for families (you can always swim in the sea!). The apartments had everything we needed with a nice view of the beach and a choice of places to sunbathe (poolside, grassy area or own patio). I will definately be coming back here.

very dissapointedwe were given three prices for a four night stay by laterooms. We were given a large room with side sea view for the first two nights, and after contacting the hotel prior to arriving, were told we could be moved to a sea view room and that is was a better room that the first, for two of the night. We agreed. What a mistake! the second room was far too small, the bed was creaky and old and the sea view, well, if you stood at the window the locals could see you!. The manager was not helpful, and quoted he could do nothing to re-inburse us with anything as we had booked with laterooms. (talk about made to feel like second class citizens - either put up or shut up!) The hotel was full so we couldnt be moved. This is not a hotel we would return too. They charge 10.00 for a different key if you are to be in later than 11, and if you dont have a key and do stay out we were led to believe you cant get in! who knows how any night is going to turn out? (this is taken off your bill if you dont lose it). This hotel is all up front and no substance, and feels more like a nursing home. The staff at breakfast kept taking orders to the wrong tables . It cost us just under £400 for a 4 night stay, and was a waste of hard earned money due to restrictions and rules. I went away to get away from those!.

PerfectThe villa we stayed at was amazing. It was massive and really well furnished. Got a great deal from Laterooms.com quite last minute. As there were only two of us staying for two nights, we didnt get to fully utilise the benefits of our accommodation. If we had stayed for a week, maybe with another couple or two, we could have made more use of the kitchen and living room area. Instead we got a cheap cab into town and ate out.The booklet we got from the hotel, suggesting the best places to go and eat is a bit dated and the restaurants it recommended were pretty poor. If you really want to find a good place to eat, ask your cab driver (they know everything). We didn't eat at the Porth veor Manor hotel restaurant but it looked really nice from where we were at the bar

ReviewGood if you're a middle-aged to older person with money, or a younger couple with pretenses of money. Clean but boring room. Bathroom was great, but room was nothing special. Tiny T.V.

"A good quality hotel serving all ones needs without any fuss or bother"We had a very enjoyable and comortable stay at this hotel. All our needs were well catered forby friendly and accommodating staff. Our only small crtisicm is the slightly dated feel about the place in general.
