Port Douglas Sands Resort

On a beautiful tropical peninsula 65km north of Cairns, the Port Douglas Sands Resort is a retreat that captures the essence of the tropics. Set in beautiful tropical gardens, the fully self-contained apartments have balconies overlooking the pool, spa and BBQ area. The resort is just minutes from famous Four Mile beach, popular with visitors from all over the world.

The resort offers a comprehensive mixture of one, two and three bedroom apartments. Each apartment contains a large living space, full kitchen with dishwasher, conventional oven and microwave, washing machine and dryer, remote controlled television, remote controlled air-conditioning, ceiling fans and private balcony.

There is a tropical lagoon style swimming pool, spa and barbecue area. Children are most welcome and there is a shallow pool for children and ground level apartments for safety of infants if required. The gardens are lush and tropical, featuring a variety of exotic tropical plants.

Port Douglas has many tours and activities which can be booked through the reception/tour desk. Snorkelling, diving, water sports, fishing, crocodile cruises and horse riding are only to name a few. We are located directly across the road from the Sheraton Mirage resort and an easy distance to the bustle of Macrossan Street.

The resort is located only 4 minutes walk from beautiful Four Mile Beach. The amazing Daintree Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef are at our doorstep. The Kuranda Markets and Hartleys Crocodile Park are a great day out. Fantastic restaurants and bars are only a short bus ride away.
