We visited for a long weekend because my husband had business in the area. The hotel was perfect in every way and we can see how they have earned the 5 star award. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. The food is delicious. We ate at the Seahorse Grill 3 nights in a row because it was so good. A very enjoyable experience.

Good breakfast. Housekeeping pounded on door after 9:00 pm woke me up. Hotel could not find a place for us to eat in the hotel except to pay $140.00 plus tip for dinner. Everything else was booked. They should have set-up another table for us in the dining room. We had to eat in a local hang-out type restaurant miles from our hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed this resort. We chose to spend an extra $/night to have an oceanside room, and it was well worth it. We were right on the beach. The beach, by the way, was not crowded at all. It was great just to walk down the beach looking at the beautiful mansions on one side and the ocean on the other. The restaurants were not as pricey as some of the other reviews said when you consider the quality of the food. The fish dishes, baked Caesar salad and lobster bisque were incredible. We will definitely go back, even though coming from Denver, it's a pain to get to (no non-stop flights since Frontier dropped their flight).

I couldn't ask for more than this hotel offered. Beautiful, spacious rooms, and a fantastic beach. The staff is incredibly helpful, and kind. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here.

We only could stay one night for a wedding and did not have enough time to enjoy everything. We plan to return to enjoy the pool, beach and food. The front receptionists are so completely wonderful.

MY BOYFRIEND AND I OWN A BUSINESS ON HILTON HEAD. IT'S VERY STRESSFUL AND WE DO NOT GET A LOT OF TIME OFF. PONTE VEDRA IS A SHORT 2 AND A 1/2 HOURS. THIS RESORT IS AMAZING. THEY DO NOT LET YOU USE CASH HERE. IT'S ALL ON YOUR ROOM CARD. THE SPA IS GREAT!! WE GOT A COUPLE'S MASSAGE THERE. YOU HAVE TO STAY IN A ROOM ON THE BEACH AND BOTTOM FLOOR. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING. I WAS NOT IMPRESS WITH THE RESTAURANT, IT WAS PRETTY OVER PRICED FOR LUNCH. (BUT THAT'S NORMAL FOR A HOTEL) i SUGGEST TRAVELING OFF THE RESORT GROUNDS TO EAT BUT EVERYTHING ELSE WAS A PERFECT 10. WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

This mini vacation was only for a weekend and just to get away, but the time that we had was the most fun and relaxing that we have ever had. The only problem that we had it was just to short. We are planning to go back and stay for a longer period of time sometime soon. The resort offered everything you really did not have to leave the property if you did not want too. However, the location was perfect as there many resturants and shopping centers and entertainment places just down the road. Perfect for couples or families.

Over all very good place to visit and very upscale. Gratuity policy, 16 per day per room, is very very high.

The hotel was superb. The Orbitz reservations were all messed up. I think the hotel tried to straighten them out.

We had an oceanfront room with it's own refrigerator and mini bar...marble bath and very comfortable beds ...I have never had a more restful vacation. This place is rather expensive but well worth it and with Orbitz getting your room your will pay less. Try to go to Roy's (outside the resort) for dinner some night because it is excellent.

My husband and I took our two daughters (ages 2 and 3) for a two night, mid-week getaway. The place was great! Kids loved the pool, especially the slide, and the beach. Inn staff were all friendly and rooms were nice & clean. I have stayed at other places that were not as nice as this, but were more expensive. Overall, great experience. We will go back.

Inn is beautiful. food excellent. staff wonderful. our room was in the Island House by golf course, NOT the beach. This is the fartherest building from the Fitness Center and the beach. Inn charges for beach chairs for even an hour. not enough chaise lounges or chairs by the adult pool. We were there for a wedding so did not have dinner @ Inn but did have excellent breakfasts & lunches. friends said they loved the golf course's wide open fairways.

My visit was for medical purposes. The staff was wonderful from the time I checked in until my departure. I would enjoy a return visit so I could enjoy the services offered (spa) without the Mayo Clinic experience. I would like to thank the staff for making my trip a relaxing experience instead of a stressful medical task.

This resort provided everything I could ever need. The amenities are pristine. The food was amazing. The accomodations exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The scenic ocean front resort, the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, is a most relaxing and beautiful place to stay located in a peaceful beach suburban neighborhood. The rooms are all mostly beach front, extremely clean, large, warm, and well appointed. This resort's experience starts wth a very friendly staff starting with the doormen and valets, reservationists, and the hospitality people. You are really treated as a guest, not a customer. The amenities are overwhelming. It is a hard choice to decide between 36 holes of golf, 16 tennis courts, the spa, the gym, the olympic pool, or all the activities associated with an oceanfront resort. There is a myriad of choices for entertainment and dining. From the elegant oceanside Seafoam Room to the casual experience. What truly made this resort a unique experience was the friendly and approachable staff.

This hotel was very plush and quiet. The rooms were more than we expected.Beds were great, rooms were very large including the bathroom. There was a wet bar, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee pot in the room.Everything was kept well stocked. If anything was needed all you had to do was call. They always asked if there was anything else we needed everytime we called. The staff was wonderful. The location was very good for what we needed. The only thing that was a negative was not all the rooms have tubs in them, and the hot tub the water was just luke-warm at best when we tried to use it.Overall the place was GREAT!!!

The Ponte Vedra Inn and Club is a wonderful upscale hotel with a fantastic staff. The rooms were comfortable with all the amenities one would expect. The staff is fantastic and very responsive to guest requests. Although we didn't try all the restaurants on site, the food that we did have was great. Although expensive, you feel completely at ease as everything you need is at hand. There are two golf courses. The course we played was in excellent condition with well maintained fairways and greens. I would love to go back. I have only one minor quibble. The TVs are outdated and need to be replaced with flat screen TVs. However, there was so much to do that we used the TV infrequently
