Good hotel and location. Quiet. Didn't use the pool but looked inviting. Seemed as though my room was in the older/unremodeled section. Needs some updating. No fan in bathroom. Would stay again though but ask for remodeled section.

Whirlpool in room. Older with very little updates. Will not go again. Will go to some of the newer hotels in the area instead.

We stayed on a night when there was some kind of sports event going on nearby so the hotel was very full. We had kids throwing ice, pizza and toilet paper rolls in the pool. Very discusting going down at 8 in the morning to find pizza floating in the pool. Very disappointed kids

THe staff here is always willing to help, i just can't believe all the bad reviews the hotel is in wonderful shape. I noticed dates which those people stayed the hotel was quite when i stayed which was very relaxing, but any hotel you book when you come up in the winter..HELLLOO like feb or march you have badger state games special olympics and mounds of other winter sports all which take place in wausau. my kids play in some sports in wausau in the winter, it is just a rule of thumb look at area events before you plan a romantic getaway or something to that nature to see if you will have kids running rampent in the hotel. Other then that I LOVE this hotel and can not say enough about how nice and helpful everyone was when i was there. Thank you
