There were only 2 clerks working and a very long line for check-in. The clerks would take the time to give directions to anyone who asked,while there were other employees standing around to which they could have referred the questions to speed up the process. In addition, the air conditioner did not work in our room, and the bathroom window did not lock. I heard several other guests come back to the guest and complain about the condition of their rooms while I was standing in the check-in line, so I didn't even bother to complain when I found out about mine. At check-out, I did tell the clerk that the air did not work, but did not see her make a note or any attempt to record the deficiency for correction.

Close to campus and activities The room was not cleaned each day. Mold on tile in bathroom. The maid showed up to clean our room at 5:30 on Saturday and then was mad that we were getting ready to go to a banquet and she could not clean. The bathroom had mold on the tile walls, and the carpet was dirty.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! I had to wait over 2 hours for my room - after waiting in line to check-in. A complete Cluster-F! Finally got my room and it wasn't the what I had reserved and big suprise it was lower quality and was told it would be less money but it wasn't when I checked-out and I am still waiting for a call from the Manager. Asked for a different room but they didn't have any. Got in the room, no remote for the 13 inch TV but that was OK - it didn't work! Took 6 phone calls and multiple trips to the desk to get someone to fix it. Then went in the bathroom - YUCK! They must have had a bug infestation because there were dead bugs everywhere! Entire room smelled of urine covered with air-freshner. One of the bed frames was also broken but we were never able to get that fixed. I would have left and gone somewhere else but a home game weekend in Aggieland there are no other rooms. Next time I will go somewhere else. In this case you do not get what you pay for!

The hotel location is ideal for any A&M events but it is in pitiful shape. The rooms were not nice the quality of the beds were poor, there were not enough linens in the room, the bar didn't have anything. I mean like anything they were new to open that night they should have waited. Mostly they need to update the nasty place.

The hotel was conveniently located near my daughter's appartment. Slow check in clow check out, Needs some serious updating. This hotel was converted to dorms and then back to a hotel. The conversion was done cheaply and very apparent. For the amount I paid I was extremely disappointed. A clock radio next to the bed would have been nice. But there was not a place to even put my cell phone as an alarm instead. Bathroom was very small and outdated.

We were there for a football weekend at A&M and while the Plaza websites states the hotel was recently remodeled our room showed no evidence. The room was shabby and the carpeting was dirty. While the staff at the desk was nice and friendly, the Plaza was in poor shape. "Hotel" is a stretch for this place. Stay at another place even if the cost is higher.

Customer service was above average. Mattress was way to soft. Outside and Lobby apperance was above that of condition of room. Rooms and Beds could stand to be updated. Overall enjoyed the one night stay for the money.

We came for A&M graduation--this was the only hotel room we could find. Service was terrible. It took 2 hours to get any towels. We asked for a fly swatter due to about 8 flies in the room. We were told there weren't any fly swatters. No offer to help in any way. The room was fair. One of the hallway ceilings was actually crumbling in. There was a charge for the crummy continental breakfast with the room. I wouldn't stay again, but if it's the only room available, it is okay as far as not too dirty.
