Older but updated. Rooms were very nice & comfortable. Everything was great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. My husband and I enjoyed it very much.

I just got back from spending 5 nights at the Boca Raton Plaza Hotel & Suites and would highly recommend it for anyone that wants a nice place to stay at a very reasonable price. My room and the facility was clean and comfortable. The wireless internet access was good, easy to use and free. The pool was very enjoyable with a poolside cabana bar to facilitate drink and food orders. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good and offered great value. I would rate it a full point above what it is rated at. This is a hotel that offers a traveler great value.

Stayed there last year for 21 days. The rooms were fine, pool was wonderful, staff was very friendly, The general manager was very helpful. Hope to stay ther again this year"

Room was clean but slight odd smell - possibly due to AC unit not pulling humidity out of room. Staff was friendly and amenities were adequate

We stayed here on April 19, 2009 on our way to a cruise. The hotel gave us a great discount rate for 4 people. The room was clean and comfortable. It does have older furnishing but they were in good shape. The Tiki Bar was nice as was the lounge. The staff was friendly and helpful.

They are repainting the rooms. This is an independent hotel, rooms are off exterior walkways. Rooms are decent in size and they make an attempt to make it pleasant. Rooms are basically tired for wear. Restaurant is a good value and perfectly fine for breakfast, lunch. Really could use new carpets. Otherwise it is exactly what it presents itself as, an ok place to stay for a few nites at a much better rate than is found in most of the other Boca hotels.

Location was great. The room where we were was not in the main building and I was disappointed in that. We were in another building and that needed renovation. Rugs and tile need to be replaced to give a fresh clean look. Staff was very nice and helpful and had I known for an additional $10-15 we could have upgraded. Pool was clean and entertainment on the weekends outside by the pool was great. Lounge chairs were uncomfortable beacause there was a bar going across the back that felt uncomfortable when sitting in it.

Jacuzzi fairly spacious. Charged retroactively for Kleenex tissue. The management appears attentive and tries to keep the place up, which beats certain other places on U.S. 1 that charge based on location and supply/demand without trying to deliver value. Having microwaves and fridges in the rooms is a nice touch. Charging a credit card retroactively for taking the tissues (due to allergies and sniffles) is not.

The room had a very intense cigarette smell, i open the balcony door to try to refresh it but it doesn't work, worst of all, it was the same smell outside the room. The room was in bad conditions, the furniture is old, the carpet was dirty the bed covers where burn with cigarettes. We found a used coke can in the balcony. The place is very expensive for the quality of the room we received. Stay away of this hotel

staff quotes one price on check in then charges more upon check out. local drunks stay at pool bar and take up parking for guest. great motel for hookers.

From the time we arrived at 2:00AM till the time we checked out the staff was all very helpful and friendly. We would come back again!! We had a great time relaxing at the Tiki Bar by the pool thanks to the fun people we had around us. Only a few minutes from the beach. We had to park a bit from it but the walk was nice.

Can't beat the value. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Convenient to many south Florida destinations, i.e., Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Hard Rock Casino, etc. Staff was friendly and attentive. Pool was great as was the Tiki bar. Dinner in restaurant was good - great roast beef sandwich! Will definitely stay again.

there was blood on the toilet paper, bugs in the bed (which i didnt discover until the next morn), and parts of the walls flaking off. i had stayed here before; i thought i'd do it again. i will never stay there again aftermy last experience. staff was less than impressed with my legitimate complaints.

There is a small amenity charge that is not worth the fee. I found the room to be old and in need of a serious update, includingthe furnature and the beds. The bathroom/shower was in fair condition.

Stayed Three days 11/15/08.Hotel on outside and pictures on internet look good,These are very disiptive,Noise from Highway This at at front of hotel,Can not be avoided,Dirty rooms,Sheets are brown and are supposed to be white ,carpet dirty,very dirty,neigherhood dangerous,first day somebody came in room and left door open. Do not bother with this hotel .You will be dissapointed.I left........

The hotel was not what I expected. Room had a smoking smell to it. If was not of the time that i checked in 12:00 am, I would have move over the a different hotel
