recently stayed at this hotel and was disgusted with the staff and the way this place is run. The owner's son and manager (Mike Millard) started screaming at another guest in front of me when they came to the front desk to complain about not having reliable free wi-fi as advertised. A member of the front desk staff also confided in me that the manager actually keeps a log of all web sites guests visit. What finally disgusted me after a week at this dump was the constant use of the rooms for local prostitutes. After leaving the hotel I did some research and found the manager has been arrested numerous times for drug dealing and has been convicted of embezzlement. I strongly advise all travelers stay away from this place.

We were stuck in Carson City waiting for a part to be delivered to the car dealer so we could drive across Nevada and Utah, so we just needed a nice place to stay for the night that wasn't too expensive. This filled the bill nicely

the hotel was quiet and comfortable. there was plenty of parking. the rooms were larger than i am used to for the price.the cont. breakfast could have had more to it. but it was clean and the attendent was very helpfull.

The Plaza in Carson City Nevada was extremely comforable and located perfectly for our needs at the time. I liked the small refrigerator and microwave in the room and will remember that amenity for future use. Not knowing ahead of time that those would be available in the room, we were not able to plan for those conveniences.

My buddy and I stayed at The Carson Plaza Hotel on our three day ski week-end to Heavenly Valley Ski resort in South Lake Tahoe. Carson City is only 25 miles from South Lake Tahoe and the hotels are much cheaper. We stayed in the main building of the Plaza Hotel and the room was excellent. The front desk staff was very nice and they have a very nice free continental breakfast. The pool is closed in the winter and there is no hot tub. I will stay there again.

We were in town for a funeral and the staff was sympathetic and able to provide rooms that were quiet and away from a large group of high school students, there for an event. The room was large, comfortable, and nicely appointed. The hotel wireless network was easy to access and was high speed. A nice surprise was the microwave, sink and refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and well arranged. We had a nice view out our window, as it was snowing. The parking lot was cleared and ready for us to resume our travel, with out our having to fight snow drifts. There were several outstanding restaurants with in a pleasant walking distance and we were well pleased with their service.

It met my needs completely. I had been staying at a resort around Tahoe for two weeks, but needed an extra day until my return flight from Reno the next day. Located in downtown Carson City you can walk to the government buildings and the casinos. There are numerous buildings on the property, I was in the main building just around the corner from the reservations desk. My room was toward the back of the property, so there was no road noise. I had a basic hotel room and it met my needs to just be able to have a nice place to sleep for one night. I was also able to use the wireless Internet connection without any problems. My stay included a continental breakfast. The area where this is served is quite large and the food was as good as it gets for continental fair breakfasts. They also had available the morning paper for your reading enjoyment while having your breakfast.

Separate bedroom and livingroom with TV in each room. Very large vanity/dressing area, with double sinks, separate from toilet and shower. Small kitchen area. Very clean room. Only drawback, no pool but we were told we could use pool next door.

My room was on the second floor with no elevator in spite of hotel desk staff telling me that there was one. I can walk very little without extreme pain, I was able to make it up the stairs but if I needed anything like ice etc. I couldn't make the trip down and then back up the stairs again. I did without coffee because I couldn't make it down the stairs and then walk to the office to get some from the lobby. The in room coffee maker was too filthy to even try to use. I did try cleaning it but couldn't get it clean enough to actually use. I looked at the one in my sons room and it too was filthy. For a part of my vacation I felt trapped in that room because of the stairs and with everything else in town booked solid it was either take the room or go home. The first thing I noticed when walking in the room was a horrible electronic humm from the small fridge unit. Unplugging and then plugging it back in took care of the humm, but that was when I noticed that the electrical plate to the socket was laying on the floor instead of being in place over the sockets. A curious 2 year old could be hurt or killed by that. The fridge was also missing the door to the freezer. I had to throw out all fruit and salad as it froze solid, about $10 worth of food. When we left one evening, we left the air on as it was very hot and we wanted to come back to a comfortable room. When we got back the room was hot and no air was coming out of the vents of the air conditioner. We opened the window and discovered that it had no screen so we closed it and slept in a hot room. The next morning my son showed us that the air conditioner had frozen on the bottom and just needed to thaw out as the same thing happened in his room and he also had to go without air that night. The breakfast consisted of very sugary cereals and bagels, not very good if you value your health. There were two good things, the sink was not in the bathroom and was low enough that after borrowing one of the chairs from my s

Overall the hotel was adequate for my purposes, we travel to Carson City for medical reasons. The rooms were clean, beds were somewhat uncomfortable. New mattresses and some updating would help. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Affordable and centrally located

good value, nice staff, the free breakfast was not so great, but for the price of the hotel it was fine. We liked being able to get to the casino nearby. We would stay there again should we pass through Carson City.
