The Emeraude Plaza Etoile Hotel is located in one of the most popular sections of the city and is conveniently located to attractions such as Champs Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe and more. Both the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe are located within 50 meters of the hotel.

The hotel is situated about 25 kilometers from the airport. Airport transportation is available for an additional surcharge. Metro stations are conveniently located in the nearby vicinity of the hotel.

There are standard rooms as well as deluxe rooms at the Emeraude Plaza Etoile Hotel. Deluxe rooms offer views of either the Arc de Triomphe or the Eiffel Tower. Room amenities include mini-bars and televisions.

The hotel offers a daily breakfast buffet as well as bar/lounge. While there is not a restaurant on site at the hotel, the immediate area does have numerous restaurant and bistros within walking distance.

This hotel was superbly located, with easy access to many sights, shopping area, and lovely restaurants. It was a few minutes from the drop off and collection point for the Aer France bus. The hotel itself was nice, with lovely friendly staff. The room was small but perfect for a short stay. We did not eat in the hotel so I can't comment on the food. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially a gentleman named Mohammed who greeted us on our arrival and guided us to our hotel.

The hotel has a great location about two blocks north of the L'Arc de Triomphe. The rooms are small, but clean and air-conditioned. The staff was friendly, and helped us in a number of ways - providing restaurant reservations and recommendations, as well as helping us with which lines and stops to take on the Metro. (There is a Metro entrance just north of the Arc. Very handy.)

Although the hotel is situated on a main street there is surprisingly little traffic noise. Only drawback of the room we had (and I would assume also generally of other rooms) was that the walls are very thin and neighbouring guests can be heard clearly coming down the corridors and in their rooms. Great location though, really well-priced for its position.

The hotel is clean and with friendly staff, although one of the receptionist's knowlege of how far away the French Open tennis tournament was from the hotel was way of the mark!!. The room is small, but I think that is standard for Paris and it was a convenient location for what we were doing - you would not want to be there spending lots of time in your tiny hotel room. The bathroom was a good size and clean. I would just say i thought it was expensive for the size of the room.

We had a small room one half flight up the stairs from the lobby (it was NOT serviced by elevator, not fun hauling luggage!) There was a working air conditioner in the room which was nice. The hotel is very close to Arc de Triomphe and Charles de Gaulle Etoile Metro station. Unfortunately the hotel foundation is directly above the Metro line and you will be awakened by the starting of the Metro line early in the morning. I was there on business so the location was a major factor in selecting the hotel.

The hotel was well-run, the staff friendly, but the 17th Arrondissement is not really the kind of neighborhood one would associate with a trip to Paris. Given that the city is admirably equipped with perhaps the best transit system in the world, there is really no reason to choose the 17th over, say, the 3rd or 4th (Marais) that are full of narrow old streets suffused with little cafes and restaurants, as well as being close to all of the major attractions. The Hotel has a single attribute - it is close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs d'Elysee. That really doesn't make it the best choice for a visitor looking for the "paris experience".

Room was really small, but from the looks of things every hotel in the area is small as well. For the location and price this is a good stay, average basically no reason to complain or brag. It is close to the Arc and Champs de Ellyses, if you sign up for the bus tour using les cars (the big red bus) you can reach the champs de ellyses bus stop easily by foot. Hotel served its purpose and was good for the price.
