Staff was wonderful, friendly and willing to provide additional inform about nearby attractions and overall making your stay a pleasant experience. Room service was timely and rooms were clean.The water sports like sailing or katking, snorkeling, and archery were free. Staff conducted the training prior to guest trying it out. and Staff was also willing to go out with you if you requested it. The activities were a wonderful surprise given there are charges at other hotels. Only downside is food wasn't very warm at times, warming trays need some adjustment.

Beautiful rooms, with king size bed, great ocean view, walk in waterfall shower with a second shower head wand. Spent most of the days in the pool or on the beach. Pool had great service, nearly always a fresh drink in hand. At the beach you could borrow snorkels to check out fish and shells, or borrow a small sailboat to take out in the bay. Night life was pretty tame. We went in a large group for a wedding so we had no problem creating our own fun. This is not like your Cancun or Puerto Vallerta where you can go into town with all the other spring breakers.

My husband I loved this resort. The view of the bay is increadable. The beach is very nice. The best part was the balcony and ocean view that our room provided. The food was a little redundant, but not horrible, you defanitly won't starve! I managed to gain weight while there! The resort tends to fill up with locals (weddings and other parties) on the weekends, so it was a little too crowed at the pools for our taste. The staff was really very nice but sometimes a little slow to get drinks at the bars, but hey, your on vacation, take your time! I will go back again soon.

We just got back yesterday from our much anticipated week long vacation. We had an absolutely GREAT time!WEATHER: Of course, June is part of the "rainy" season, so as expected there was some rain. On the first day, we didn't get in until late afternoon, so I don't know what the weather was like the whole day, but it was not raining when we arrived. The second and third day did have some rain in the evenings, mostly brief downpours. However, the first four or five days had great sunny weather during the day. The last few days did have some rain but was mostly overcast. The temperature was hot, but I live in southern United States, so it was no hotter than where I live, so it was perfect for me. Personally, I prefer having the vegetation, trees and jungle green versus the brown, dry season. It is much more beautiful and lush. So with that in mind, considering I had more sun than not, I prefer the weather this time of year.SERVICE/CAPACITY: The first 5-6 days, the resort appeared almost empty. I would venture to say that the number of guest was not even close to 100. Several times eating dinner/lunch/breakfast, my wife and I would be the only ones in the restaurant for almost the entire meal. The first four days we had the resort and pools pretty much to ourselves. I liked that. The servers were able to cater to us. Yes, they would only have some of the restaurants & bars open each night and day, but they did alternate so that there were different options. I wouldn't expect the resort to have all restaurants open when they are dealing with 100 guests or less - just not cost effective. The last couple of days (Friday and Saturday) it did get a little busier and more restaurants and bars were open, but if I had the choice, I would not have minded sacrificing some of the services for having the resort pretty much to ourselves (call me selfish!). Its a real disaponting situation when you are in a beautiful hotel, well located and spotless with so many service issues, it is managed so poorly. First of all there is a constant (really) painful situation if you try to ask for anything else besides what you can do by your own (a drink, room service, order a meal in the menu restaurants...you name it). We finally gave up at the third day of asking and asking and asking with nothing but zero response from the waitresses,.....we decide to take a walk directly to the bar each time we want something to drink. Please take note on the "promotional Offers" for the SPA. It is a real joke (a bad one and really annoining). If you want to redeem the $200 US coupons, they apply you "special" rates, which if you compare this rates with the normal ones (for the rest of the customers with no coupons results that you are paying exactly the same as any walk in customer, invalidating the "big discount deal". They try to treat you by fool.

All the restaurants are a la carte, you don't need reservations to get in, every meal was presented very gourmet , fantastic shows at night, you get service at the beach for drinks or appetaizers all the time, excellent service, Dreams has the best beach comparing to the other hotels around there,we were very happy we chose this hotel, I recommend it and I will go back.

First, rent car disaster at airport, no jeeps that we reserved 2 months ahead. Second, we paid for jr ocean suite $19XX 4 nite/5 days THREE months ahead. Hotel didnt have our room, but offered $600 refund to stay in an ocean view room w/ king bed. This room balcony looked at the big "dirt hill" on the side of the hotel, and ocean view was 2 ft at most. Went back up to special check in on 6th floor, finally got Rm 3550, 2 small (less size than double) beds but at least ocean view. Our friends had paid $13XX for the same type room. My boyfriend & I slept in separate beds on our vacation. I told the girl at check in I wanted an $800 credit not $600. I finally got my money 2 days later after I asked for the hotel manager, who told me she had approved the $, only I had never been told. Was not concerned, no apology. I left a tip & note for the maid asking for extra water bottles in room. She never brought them. I asked the girl at the front desk, never got them. Finally when I ordered room service, I got them. The maid should have showed somebody else the note, and had what I requested if she didnt. Some of the girls at the concierge were surly. None of these issues would have EVER happened at the Presidente Cozumel, where pleasing the guest is a requirement apparently. Not so much here.... No good beach bar, and you cant smoke at the outside restaurants or the one outside bar. O, there is a beach bar over near the big rock in the water,but it's very small with only concrete, no atmosphere. I guess that's part of my disappointment: Fairly generic, not really any atmosphere in the entire place, other than the view. If you've ever been to Cozumel to Mezcalitos or Coconuts or Bob Marleys then you know what I mean. Not really decorated in a tropical manner. Service just ok except for the fun guys at the lobby bar. O, and it's rare to get chairs at the pools since people save them and then don't use them all day. How rude! Love love love Prez Cozumel, love Aura Cozumel, even

I can not say enough about the employees! Everyone was personable and accommodating. We were ages 13 to 78 and all were treated with the same respect and graciousness. Many things to do both at the resort and within a short cab ride of the resort. Five pools and a sand beach. The scenery is phenomenal! Some of the resorts restaurants were better than others but the breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had.
