This is our third time to Hilton Head, and our second time staying at The Players Club. As always, the staff was very friendly, and the rooms were very clean. Unlike other hotels I've stayed at, The Players Club actually tested the water in the pool, and treated it several times while we were there. It was closed a couple of times, but I'd rather it be closed to be cleaned, than to have you-know-what in the water. The sheets, all the towels, etc. were clean with no stains and high quality. We will return, see you next year!

Setting attractive. Convenient workout facilities. Easy access to room. The size of the room and the bathroom facilities were adequate. The pool was nice. Convenient but mostly driving distance to restaurants, beach etc.

This hotel had beautiful landscaping and a friendly staff. Other residents were loud and noisy, hotel took care off it though. The Players Club was a great place to stay while visiting Hilton Head Island. My fiance and I enjoyed the beautiful landscaping, as well as it's friendly staff. The hotel was very clean. The rooms were nice and roomy. Its located just minutes from the beach, we even walked to it a few times. I am really surprised at this hotel and we'll be visiting it again next year.

Front desk don't really care about customers. Had to convince that I had to have non-smoking room after I made that clear at time of reservation. They give you a map and thats it. Rooms out dated.

After reading about this hotel from other sites, I must admit that I had my guard up when I first arrived but after seeing the location and the condition of the hotel I was very surprised that I got it for the price that I did. The area is well kept and the staff was friendly. It's within walking distance of the beach and shopping. I was very please with my stay.

Room was large but dated. Bathroom had mold around soap dish and tiling was done poorly. Hotel was a little noisy from children. Although we were in a non smoking building you could smell cigarette smike up and down the hallway. Location was great for a non ocean front hotel on HH island. Next time, I would spend the extra money on one of the beach front or golf course properties. Good for low budget and location.

It is close to the where I want to be. Staff is not friendly at all.

I was impressed by the quality of the hotel. the staff was very courteous and the room was quite large and clean. we had a clogged toilet and it was fixed within 2 minutes of calling the front desk. great value as well.

The Players Club Hotel & Resort is a low cost option for staying on Hilton Head. This was by far the best deal I could find for a hotel room. Being on the south end of the island put us close to the main beach on the island (South Forest Beach) and the bars/restaurants were within walking distance or a short cab ride. The pool was too full of kids for my taste, but I don't go to the beach for the pool. There is no onsite restaurant, but being within walking distance to a number of restuarants (Wild Wings & Coligny Plaza) overcame that.

Location and cleanliness. Overall appearance. No bar / restaurant in the hotel. Good hotel. Would definitely reccomend it.

This hotel is in dire need of a complete remodel. The room we stayed in (although one of the cleanest of any I've stayed) was dark, dated and loud. It had a refridgerator but no microwave. It was a LONG walk to the beach. The room was large, claen and serviced quickly. Also, the sheets come off of matress to easy.

Staff was great, but we saw other guests teasing the wild life which was concerning. Stayed six days and didn't get to many amenities. The room was super clean as requested. Had no elevator to the second floor. Large room for price and area. The staff was extremely acomadating to our needs, especially the cleaning staff who came at odd hours to accomodate us.

It was better than I expected for a 2 Star hotel. Need to have better signage directing you to the beach.

We found the staff responsive and helpful yet not customer focused. You will be expected to figure out how things work, because the layout is not visually managed. Services are megar, however this is reflected in the cost savings. The hotel needs to consider offering different levels of customer stay packages. Naming the packages in ways that don't intemidate the customer. The opportunity is there to sell more services, however it is not mentioned from the service desk.

Room is big and clean but some improvements needed. It is a bit noisy with no sound proof in walls Bring your earplug for sleeping at night as the wall is not sound proof at all. Also, beware of hotel stating it is close to beach, it is NOT close to beach at all, more like 20 minutes walk and not practical to walk to beach if you are carrying chairs, cooler, etc..it will be a long walk. But overall, it is a nice clean hotel for a quick stay for a descent price. Would only stay here again if nothing else is available.
