If you are looking for a quiet place to relax by the pool, walk alognthe beachor just lay in a hammock and read a book, this hotel is it and not to mention the best value. Avoid timeshare salespitches adn you will be fine. The room was dated and ours faced the road, but with all the privacy this hotel offers in its multiple non crowed pools and restaurant, we didn't feel like we missed out on a thing. Very romantic place to be.

Awesome ocean setting, beautiful surroundings, and clean. Met our needs, helpful, cheerful staff/ attentive. Our neighbor had small children that we could hear that were crying/yelling. Stayed in a lock off from their 1 BR & we could hear all through door. I would recommend this hotel to others. It was more personal than the larger hotel that we stayed at & more romantic in a beautiful setting. The ocean was extremely close & you could rest with the sound of the waves at the pool or in your room on the balcony.

this place is awful. they advertise it as being new and its not. they have 1 new building, if that building is full they put you in their other rooms that have not be touched since the 60's. we were right next to the hwy and it was really noisy. there were stains everywhere. this place is popular for anyone over 60. the atmosphere of the entire place is absoulutely unsatisfying. everything about this hotel was terrible!!!!!!!!! do not stay here...... i would never recommend to anyone....

Playa Del Sol was probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. First almost all the staff spoke Spanish only. We even had difficultly with the check in staff. Our room was sub-standard. It had big patchs of stucco on the walls where repairs had been made and they were not even painted over. The refrigerator leaked so you had to be careful not to fall when you walked past it. And the worst part was the location. It sits right on the main freeway between Cabo and San Jose Del Cabo. This freeway is busy day and night so rest was next to impossible. I have been to Cabo and the surrounded areas of Baja many, many times and have never had such a terrible experience.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful, most spoke English which was great! One day the cleaning ladies left the patio door open and the next day inside one of our bags exploded with baby bugs. I strongly suggest this hotel for families, or couples looking for a nice vacation. It was very clean and best of all most of the staff spoke English. The bad parts of this hotel is the location, but if you do not rent a car there is a bus stop close by and taxis to San Jose del Cabo is about $5.00. There is a grocery store close enough to walk to which is a benefit.

hola! vell myself and my husbund come here to experince cabo sun lucas, and it vas very saucy, litally, my bed was how you sey comfable, and very saucy. ve didnt leave room muche but if you vant suacy bed COME HERE our favarote huneymoon yet, thankyou maid you very kind lady girl.

Spacious and convenient room, good service and right on the beach. You can't swim in the ocean on the beach, to get to any cities, beaches, attractions or restaurants have to take taxi or bus. No fitness center It is a very good value for family vacation - nice accommodation and children friendly. However, the beach is not usable for swimming, since sea is too rough. So for a real beach experience one have to take a cab or bus. The same is for city life, restaurants and other entertainment. The hotel is located right on the highway and one can't get easily to anything else other than what is in hotel itself, which is not much. No fitness center, no rentals for sports, no night club, no business center. So it is somewhat inconvenient location. But the room is very comfortable with ocean view; staff is very friendly and helpful

To Whom It May Concern, I would like to take this time to voice my complaints regarding my stay at Playa del Sol, San Jose Del Cabo. We were told there were indeed handicap accommodations and needed to contact them closer to our arrival, we continued to stay in touch as our vacation drew nearer. Unfortunately when we arrived we discovered our resort was not accommodating or equipped to handle wheelchairs. After waiting 45 minutes to be shown to our room our first hurdle was the step leading onto the hallway that lead to our room. In the middle of the room between the kitchen and living area was another step, which made moving throughout the room difficult for a wheel chair. In order to move throughout the room, the person in the wheel chair was completely reliant on others and needed help to leave the room. Another problem area immediately noticed was the accommodations in the bathroom. First we were unable to fit the wheel chair in the bathroom, making every trip to the bathroom risky. Second, the shower was not equipped. The ledge was approximately one and a half feet high and six inches wide, making it impossible to step into the shower. Third, the shower was not equipped for someone with a disability. There were no grab bars and the resort did not have any shower chairs to accommodate someone who could not stand in the shower. These less than ideal accommodations made it necessary to have someone help assist her into and out of the shower. Not to mention we had to use a lawn chair off of the patio to aide in showering. We were told they had wheel chair accessible rooms we expected that the above mentioned concerns would not have been an issue. This is concerning because all of these issued listed above are a huge safety concern for anyone in a wheel chair. We were told there were no other rooms available except one other which they allowed us to look at. However upon entering this room we found it to be identical to the original room we were placed in. They told
