The Platzl Hotel is situated in the historic Old Town of Munich between the picturesque Marienplatz, the legendary Hofbruhaus, the Viktualienmarkt and the Bavarian State Opera. All 167 rooms and suites have been completely refurbished in 2007 and now showcase a mix of classic elegance and contemporary Bavarian design in a 4-star superior atmosphere. They are equipped with airconditioning, direct-dial ISDN-telephone and personal message system, flatscreen TV with cable, radio, minibar and high speed internet access. Wireless Internet Access is available in all public areas and in part of the rooms. 2 rooms have been designed for the physically disabled.

| Don´t stay in this hotel. You have to pay extra for internet access and when I was here they took money from my credit cards without my permission. |

| One of the best hotels for location in all of Munich, if you want to be in the center of the action. Just steps from the Mirianplatz (sp?) and many restaurants and market square. The hotel has free internet even if you don't bring your computer and the staff is very friendly and efficient. Plenty of things to do within steps of the hotel and the train service to and from either other sites or other cities is just around the corner. All in all a very nice hotel for getting around Munich. Clean, efficient and friendly. Also, the buffet breakfast was very good with many items to select from. |

| This hotel has one of the best locations in Munich. I have stayed at this hotel twice now and will be back for oktoberfest in 08. |

| This hotel was awesome! Great location, rooms were spotless, the spa was amazing and the breakfast was unforgettable. Super hotel! And, a great price. |
