Only stayed one night, but I wish we could've stayed longer! Extremely clean, they didn't cut any corners. Very nice and large. It was about 1/2 mile off the strip, but worth the walk to stay somewhere clean, nice, large, and smoke-free. We got the cheapest room, and it had a full gourmet kitchen, balcony, jacuzzi tub, and central air conditioning. I would definitely stay there again!

This is an ideal location, only 10 mins walk from the middle of Las Vegas Boulevard (the Strip), but far enough away from the hustle & bustle. Great rooms, great service, nice pool, decent restaurant. Overall, great value for the price - we couldn't fault it!

We booked with this hotel after reading all the great reviews. We were upgraded to a Princess suite at check in without asking for an upgrade. We were extremely impressed by the room. Plenty of room for a family of four which included two teenage boys. We did have few problems with the room, but one phone call and a staff member was at our door within minutes of the call. The pool area was crowded at midday in the outside area, but we had the inside pool to ourselves. The fitness room had everything we needed to stay in shape while there. The view from our balcony of the mountains was perfect for morning sunrises and coffee. The only problem that we had was with the valet parking. Our car was scratched and dented the first time we gave them our rental car. Needless to say this put a damper on our vacation as we did not purchase the extra insurance the rental company tries to sell. We were told that the Platinum would cover the damages, but they would not give me a copy of the accident report. Overall we loved the Platinum and would love to go back again with rental insurance on the car.

Only problem we had was at check-in. I called a week prior to arrivel to confirm the strip view with a king bed. We we arrived they only had the 2 queen bed with strip view. We had to settle for a king bed on 2nd floor with no view.

I loved this hotel. The pool was heated and there was an indoor and out door pool. The weather was comfortable enough to walk to the strip hotels. The Spa was outstanding with an exceptional massuse and pedicurist. Room service was excellent and affordable. All and all everything was perfect. The staff was friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable

The hotel it self is great-clean, quiet, and nice rooms. The front desk staff need to learn customer service though. Tried to check in & room was not ready-never got an apology -the desk clerk looked like they were being interupted from doing something important when I kept checking on the status of my room. After waiting an hour and a half it was done. Upon checking out the clerk never asked how the stay was and again acted like they had better things to do. Also tried to book a spa treatment but the girl behind the desk was on the phone with a personal call so finally left after being ignored. The rooms are beautiful but the lousy customer service detracts from this. The only decent service during my stay was the bartender who gave me free soda while waiting for my room and housekeeping.

It was a wonderful hotel, especially for the money. It was VERY difficult to get through to the Spa to make our appointments ahead of time. Nobody ever ansered the phone. The front desk had the same problem and never let us know the problem was that it was closed 3 days a week. It was pretty aggravating.

My friends and I recently stayed at the Platinum for my 30th birthday and we couldn't be happier with the hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and luxurious, the pool area is fantastic with comfy lounge chairs in the sun and the shade, the spa is gorgeous and relaxing, the food is awesome, and the beds are the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on. The parking and valet staff are great and find you a taxi or a car whenever you need it. One of the valet staff even went so far as to get my friends and I on a VIP list at Pure nightclub at Caesar's Palace! I'll always stay at the Platinum for my future Vegas trips!!!

The location away from, but in close walking distance to the strip was great. Bus lines and parking available there. Very modern amenities and decor. Spacious rooms with large hot tub. Wonderful deck and indoor and outdoor connected pools. Great stay there. Service and those special little touches were adequate but they were missing that hospitality factor, but it was a wonderful stay at a good price. Highly recommended

I stayed here for 8 nights. The valet was very welcoming. I was disappointed when I noticed a big chip of paint removed near the area where you insert your key. Several hours after check in I noticed chicken on the floor. The next day, my birthday, upon my return to the room, it was not thoroughly clean! The chicken was still on the floor, the tub was dirty, the trash was not emptied, the chair where I had sat previously was still askew and my 12-yr old could have made a better bed. Oh yeah the pillow I had drooled on was still on the bed! I asked for the housekeeping supervisor, but they sent someone else 40 minutes later. Two additional days I complained about the bathtub being dirty. I requested a light bulb that had gone out in the bedroom because I like to read and no one responded. On Friday, I requested a wake up call at 9am, I received my wake up call at 9:20 am. No apology from the caller for the late wake up. When I requested to speak to the manager, his only compensation was in room dining which was very limited or a late check out. Due to my accomodations being made through travelocity the manager said he could not financially compensate me. Upon my return home I left a message on the cooperate manager's voicemail to express my complaints; to date I have not received a call from the manager. The only positive people I would compliment is the valet. Apparently, this establishment could care less about their guests not enjoying their stay since they already have your money. This place is called The Platinum, but should be renamed The Cubic Zirconium. Stay away from this dump!

Even though it's not directly on the strip, it's in a great location which you can easily walk to the strip. The rooms are huge and for the price, it's unbeatable! Will definitely stay here again.

We were very happy to have selected this hotel. This was my families first time visiting Las Vegas and we researched all sorts of hotels via various websites. Glad to report that this hotel held up to prior good comments, photos, and overall hotel description. The suite was more than enough space to accommodate our party, and we really felt like occupying a home as oppose to staying in your typical hotel room where everything is all there in one large space. Our suite was very clean, spacious, provided all the general suite amenities (stove, refrigerator, microwave, silverware, glasses, dishwasher, etc) and when we needed anything the staff was there to offer immediate assistance. We ate in the hotel mainly for breakfast and the food and service was excellent. The other restaurant was good and prices reasonable in comparison to other area hotels of its kind. Location was convenient to many other restaurants, shops, casinos, and the main Las Vegas strip. We also enjoyed how quiet the hotel was in comparison to those hotels with casinos. It was definitely a BIG PLUS not to be bothered with people rotating in and out to gamble, the smoke, and noise. My only drawback was that credit cards and debit cards are not viewed/charged the same. For instance, I used my debit card to check-in which was held on file for any incidental charges. Although it has a credit card logo, when swiped, your card is immediately charged $100 per night for each nights stay. Where as a credit will just place the standard hold. Given you have no incidental charges at your check-out, the money is refunded to you in a couple of business days, but it can offset your budget if you had not anticipated the amount charge to begin with. Unfortunately we were not notified of the credit card vs. debit card difference until after the charge had been applied. Other than this, everything was very pleasing and we look forward to staying hear again upon our next visit to Vegas.

The Platinum Hotel was fabulous We upgraded to the princess suite and could not have been happier. There were two distinct areas so that you could watch tv or talk on the phone without disturbing anyone who is sleeping. The bathroom was large with two sinks ,a spa tub and a large separate shower. Bathrobes were provided as well as an iron and ironing board. There were two large closets and a safe. The kitchen was just like being home- high point for me was the fridge with the ice and water dispenser no wandering the halls looking for the ice machine. The only negative was the dining room the fish was not cooked and the chicken dish tasteless--so eat out. There was a 7-11 close by which was great for drinks and snacks. The walk to the strip wasn't bad but if it was raining it could get costly with cabs. I would definitely book here again

The Platinum Hotel was very clean and most of all a non-smoking hotel. The suite was huge with a spa tub and walk in shower. There were two flat screen TV's, one in the den area and one in the bedroom which is great for a family with children. The kitchen area was large as well and my wife like the fact that the hotel had a balcony as well as the spa treatments and I of course enjoyed the weight room. The location was a couple of blocks from the strip and we did not mind walking. Restaurants were nearby in walking distance or a bus stop in front of the hotel every 30 minutes. Over all we had a great time in Vegas and look forward to another trip.

The Platinum Hotel & Spa was a pleasent surprise. I took the advise of previous reviewers and the results were awsome. Close enough to walk to the strip (however, our stay was too HOT to walk). One problem, however, was the parking, not enough to detour a future stay, but the valet makes up for any parking issues. We will stay again and have recommended this hotel to friends.

We had a wonderful stay at The Platinum in Las Vegas. We were treated very well. Our room was upgraded which was a very nice and pleasent surprise. The view was very nice. The concierge was especially helpful and unfortunately we did not get her name. She gave our daughters passes to try out some of the night clubs and gave them recommendations. she also helped us on planning an excursion to Hoover Dam and Valley of Fire. We had a super vacation and great experience. Our only complaint was that the lighting was not the best in any of the rooms.
