Description:
Plas Efenechtyd BandB is a lovely georgian farmhouse set in an acre of gardens. It is just 2 miles from the delightful medieval town of Ruthin with its great tea shops, restaurants and independent shops. It is the ideal base from which to explore North Wales. Snowdonia, the Welsh coast, Offa's Dyke Footpath and the Clwydian Way are all within easy reach.We offer guests comfortable en-suite accommodation with a choice of two double bedrooms or one twin bedroom, with stunning views out over the Clwyd mountains. We serve a great breakfast to set you up for the day. Our hens provide your breakast eggs. Our jams, marmalade and bread are all homemade and other ingredients are locally sourced where possible.
Transportation:
From Ruthin, take the road signed Bala. Go straight on at the mini-roundabout (Bala is signposted left) through Llanfrwog past the church on the right and the Cross Keys Inn on the left. Continue up the hill, past the Firgrove BandB and through a series of bends for half a mile until you reach a straight and level stretch of road. About 100 yards along this straight, take a left turn just before some railings into a single track lane. Carry on along this lane until you reach a T junction with a Give Way sign, turn right and Plas Efenechtyd Cottage is halfway up the hill on the right. You will see the white fence and a metal gate.
