Great hotel, friendly staff, awesome location! The rooms were a little small, but spotless and clean. The bathrooms have been redone, and had a great walk-in shower. Free wi-fi in the hotel, which was fast and had strong signal strength. The hotel is only one block from the waterfront, which is the main tourist spot in savannah. Highly recommend this hotel!

Yogurts at breakfast have been expired 2 weeks earlier. And they are dairy food. Needs to be eaten fresh.

Was there the last week in March. Smallest hotel room I have ever stayed at. The bathroom was even smaller with having to squeeze between the toliet and counter to use the sink. Looking out, the only view we had was a 7 story parking gargae accross the street. The comp. breakfast was at the most OK if you like grits and hard boiled eggs. You can do alot better than staying here.

We were very pleased with the comfort of our room and help we recieved from the staff about getting around in Savannah. We were treated like very special guests. The location could not be beat - the car was parked for us and we could walk to anything we wanted to see. The Pink House Restaurant next door was a taste and visual treat. Highly reccommend this hotel for those who would like to leave their troubles behind and just have a wonderful time in Historic Savannah.

Great service from hotel staff. The staff was always very friendly, professional, and informative. The Pink House was wonderful and so was Paula Deen's. The Rock N' Roll (The Beat Goes On)at Savannah Theatre was outstanding.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location in Savannah- within walking distance to everything downtown. Not a big fan of the room - it's been a long time since I have had to sleep on a small twin bed- not that fun. This hotel was in a perfect location across from Reynolds Square. The lobby is gorgeous and the wine and cheese mixer they had in the afternoon was a nice touch as well as the deluxe continental breakfast. The room we stayed in was not my favorite room of this trip but everything else made up for it.

It is important to know the rooms are equiped with 2 twin beds or 1 queen size bed. We were a party of 1 Mother and 2 adult daughters. We wanted to stay at the Planters Inn so I called them in advance. They added a twin bed so we could stay in one room. The staff was spectacular. They were very hospitable and were clearly there to please their guests. The location is ideal especially if you are planning to walk throughout the historical district. The concierge was terrific and helped to make the trip wonderful. They even sent a complimentary bottle of decent champaign to our room as it was my sister's birthday! The breakfast was quite decent and the wine and cheese evenings were a nice way to get to know the staff and other guests.

We were in town for a wedding that was booked at the Inn and we had such a pleasant stay- we loved the cookies at night and the wine and cheese social in the lobby wit hteh piano playing.

Planter's Inn was very enjoyable. With it being one of the oldest buildings in Savannah it is the place to come if you want to really experience the culture. Top notch personalized service, wine and cheese in the lobby every night with a piano player, breakfast in the morning, you feel like you're at a B&B but not as expensive. Location is amazing- couple blocks from city market and river street- i didn't even have a car with me and there is no need for one! You can walk comfortably everywhere. The only downside is that you can hear quite a bit of street noise outside your window, but that may not be true if you get a balcony/parkview room though. I look forward to staying there again!

Great location. Staff was wonderful. Had a nice wine and cheese reception. Only draw back was room had double beds. We were told that if you book online that is all that you can get.

Nice hotel, but noisy. Lots of traffic on street till wee hours of the morning. Parking is expensive.

My room and bath were pretty, large, and quite luxurious. The temperature control was quiet and comfortable. Nice lobby and staff and a good walking location. The breakfast was, however, standard motel fare.

I thought it was just going to be a small hotel but was very surprised how well we were taken care of. To the bath robes in the room to the cheese and wine in the afternoon. I will be back again. My room looked out over the garage area but that didn't really bother me.

Great location, Wonderful staff! A jetted tub, and this would have been perfect.

Wonderful location. A very pretty, clean, friendly and accommodating stay. Perfect location on a quiet park a couple of blocks from the river front. Easy to walk almost every where we wanted to go. The front desk set up our tours for us.

Perfect location in the Historic District. Friendly and efficient staff. The wine, cheese and fruit service in the afternoon is a very nice touch and provides an excellent way to meet and get to know the other guests. My wife and I enjoyed this hotel very much and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. We found the staff generally friendly. We found the staff, mainly the conceriege, very disorganized and not helpful at all. I actually had an accident while in my hotel room, which was promptly reported to the staff and in which I asked them to provide a rubber mat for a very slippery tub, and got no assistance. We expected to rely on the conceirge for suggestions and assistance and she was inefficient and amazingly unhelpful.

The location cannot be beat. However, there were baskets at every turn looking for donations, including the continental breakfast (which was less than edible) and the wine and cheese reception. The concierge was content to hand you a book and say "here are some ideas for restaurants" and push tours.
