Description:
Port Douglas Plantation Resort is a 4 star boutique resort on the doorstep of the magnificent Great Barrier Reef and World Heritage rainforest. Located 6 km from the heart of Port Douglas and 2 km from the beach, our guests have the luxury of peace, privacy and tranquillity.
Accommodation comprises of beautifully appointed, contemporary, 1 bedroom apartments, 2 bedroom villas and 2 bedroom, 2 storey townhouses, dotted over 5 acres of lush tropical gardens. All are fully self-contained with king or king/twin beds, airconditioned, individual ensuites, laundry, lounge/dining, kitchen and balcony or patio.
Facilities at Plantation Resort include a lagoon-style pool with spa, waterfalls, child"s wading area and lap lane, full size tennis court, golf driving net, Austar TV, book exchange, as well as the Long Hut Poolside Bar and BBQ area. Getting around is easy, mountain bikes are available for hire. The local bus also operates every hour to the beach and Port Douglas village.

Car Parking:
Covered parking for guests. Directions: from Cairns airport drive north along the Cook Highway toward Mossman for approx 65 km. Plantation Resort is the first resort on the highway 1.2 km before the Port Douglas turn off.
Attractions:
Port Douglas is the gateway to the world famous Great Barrier Reef. All tours for the reef or nearby Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation can be easily booked on arrival at the resort. Other activities include horseriding through beautiful valley trails, sailing, the Habitat Rainforest Sanctuary, mountain biking, ballooning, paragliding, whitewater rafting, canoeing, fishing charters and lots more!
