The rooms were very clean, the location is the best in Athens (walking distance to so many sites, shopping, food, plaka (great night life) and the subway. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

This hotel is in a great location to enjoy the Plaka neighborhood. Plus it has incredible views of the Acropolis if your room faces south. Even if your room is on another side of the bulding, the hotel offers a great roof top terrace where you can have a cocktail and enjoy the sunset over the Acropolis. The hotel is updated, clean, and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.

They only problem with this hotel was the noise at night. The location is great for the sights and access to public transportation but is on a very noisy strip of town. The cars and motorcycles woke us up throughout the night. It was very clean and comfortable. Except for the noise, we loved our stay here.

The location was great for a 1-2 day stay in Athens. It was in walking distance from the Parthenon, the Plaka for shopping and eating, and the changing of the guards. The breakfast was free and nice. It was clean with good service.

The Plaka Hotel has the best location in Athens because of its proximity to the Plaka and its spectacular views of the Acropolis. The staff was helpful and there is a breakfast buffet. Although they claim to have been recently renovated, the air conditioning did not work well in either of two rooms we stayed in.

The Plaka was well located but that it was really only good thing I could say. The desk staff was rude and abrupt. The room was clean but barren. Stree noise was a problem. Beds were rock hard and sincerely uncomfortable. Hotel laundry ruin several garments. Sheets and towels were threadbare. Wireless internet did not work and could not recover fee. Terrible overall experience.

We liked the hotel as it was a good location in busy Plaka area, with a rooftop bar with perfect views of the Acropolis. But, bathroom was very small...

The Hotel was very nice. We were in Plaka central within walking distance to the Acropolis and many other historic sites. There is lots of shopping in the area and many good restaurants. The tram and metro are also close. The Hotel is safe and very clean. There is a nice breakfest served every morning. All in all it was a very good choice. One word of advice if you fly in it should only cost you about 23 to 30 euro to get a cab from the airport to the Plaka and try and pick a Benz cab, the trunk is much bigger for luggage.

we stayed there for a few night's after the greece islands ,the rooms were basic but give you space to relax ,near by are few restaurant to eat at , the sights were easy to get to by walking

should be 4 star if they up grade the internet to n wireless and not charge for using it. I couldn't send pic they charged 15 euros for 5 hours with their speed I wanted to find places to visit took up my time in 1 1/2 days. 15 Euros U.S. dollar = 23.2695 U.S. Dollars2 or $4.38 per hour. is alot for something that should be free. But yes it was nice very proffesional

from the airport catch the bus outside (for about 4 euro) to the last stop & the hotel is about a 5min walk , the hotel was lovely to stay in ,as the room was maybe basic but you are only there to relax & sleep ,the ACROPLIS was easy to get to & could be seen from the roof top of the hotel

This was a lovely hotel--very clean and elegant with a superb view from the roof bar. Everything was very clean and the staff was quite professional. The location was the best part as it is in the middle of the Plaka, just blocks from the Acropolis and train station (without that near the train station grittiness you get in many major cities EG: Rome.) I will definitely return.

The Plaka Hotel is centrally located in the more touristy area. We felt safe going out at night. Our room was very comfortable. Having a safe in the room to put our tickets in was convenient. Our room had plenty of room to move around, it wasn't cramped. I would and have recommended this hotel to anyone who asks.

Excellent location right in the heart of the Plaka. Roof terrace bar with a fantastic view of the Acropolis. Good breakfast. Room was big and very clean. Internet access in room. Highly recommend
