The Pink Flamingo is an exclusive getaway for couples and leisure travelers. The beach is a short drive or 15 minutes walk away and the Daintree National Park can be reached in 30 minutes. Restaurants, Cafes, boutiques and tourist hotspots are a short drive or a 15 - 20 minutes walk away. The Pink Flamingo is about 60 kilometers from the Cairns International Airport. Bicycle rental is onsite and a tour desk can make any arrangements you may require during your stay.

There are self contained private villas and hotel room style garden studio's at the Pink Flamingo. Each room comes with a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, air conditioning, ceiling fan, CD player, DVD, television, coffee plunger. Tea/coffee making in the Studio and full kitchen in the Villa's. All rooms have an ensuite, King Size bed in the Villa's (Queen Bed only in the Studio) and the villa's feature the outside double bath in a private courtyard.

The hotel does not permit anyone under the age of 18 to stay. It is a gay themed, gay oriented resort but not exclusive. The Pink Flamingo has a large heated pool, Sunset Pool Bar and BBQ area as well as a complimentary book/DVD/CD library,laundry, bicycle hire and a tour desk. The resort is also pet friendly.
