Originally the room wasn't very clean but the staff cleaned it up well the next day once I pointed it out. The cable reception was intermittent.

Free Internet. Sheets came off the mattresses. This is a clean, but kind of low class place. It is all right for people who don't want to pay a lot and don't need a lot of ammenities.

The name of the Hotel is not the same as the sigh out front of it. The rooms do not have all that the ad says that they have. While I was there someone was double booked into a room! There are stairs everywhere upstairs, down stairs.

Our stay at the Pinecrest left a lot to be desired. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful as was the maintenance staff but that is the end of the good review. Our coffee maker was broken, light bulb was burned out in the bathroom, spider sitting in his web in the corner were the highlights of this room. But the end all was the 2" x 4" plywood that stuck out about 4 inches from beyond the bottom mattress on both queen beds. It was an accident waiting to happen. As a matter of fact, we did manage to hurt ourselves more than once. This room should NOT be rented to paying customers. The parking lot was almost empty so I do not know why we ended up in this room.

You get what you pay for. it is a very cheap hotel where you get the basic service at a very reasonable price. the room is "clean" if you don't start looking for the stain on the carpet, the TV is not the latest model and the internet is rather slow but everything works fine and the area looks safe. I would not spend the week there but for a night or two it is a good place to stay.

Price. Unfriendly and dirty. I like the price of Pinecrest Inn in Idaho Falls. But there was a big thumb nail around light- stand. (It's not ours) My daughter told me that some smells stung her nose.

it's a old run down pace that is ot worth staying there

I stayed here while visiting a friend in Idaho Falls.... I was on a pretty tight budget so I opted to stay here. For the Money it was not too bad....don't expect ultra luxury or anyhting but the room was clean and mostly quiet. It is an older place so there were sighs of use on most everything but it was all clean and not in too bad shape. The pool was open but it rained for most of my visit so I did not get to use it. The tv selection was good..most places only have a couple of channels but this one had many:) It was also directly accross the street from a golf course.... so if you golf thats a plus. overall...it was nice for the money but if you are not on a tight budget you might want to opt for something a bit more palatiual.

They were accommodating and friendly and breakfast was fine. It is quite dated. Definitely at the lower end of the scale butour room was clean and we were treated just fine.

While the Pinecrest was a little hard for me to find, once there it was a comfortable accommodation. Breakfast was adequate with clean surroundings. OK neighborhood with golf course adjacent. Easy to get to downtown Idaho Falls

This was an older motel, which would be a lot nicer if they would refurbish the rooms.

I was expecting an older facility, which is fine. I understood for the price, I should expect older carpet, beds, etc. However, I didn't expect the squalor that was my room! After finding several spider sacks attached where the bed frames and carpet met, piles of dirt in all corners, loose outlet plug holes (very unsafe!), lamps with unpredictable controls (the twist control was stripped), at least 40 flying bugs in the shower (which I took video of), and the inability to sleep soundly because of dogs barking two doors down (supposed to NOT accept pets in this motel) made me check out early. The motel, however, should clean up its act or close its doors.

Shower was too small. When cleaning crew cleaned the room, they always turned off the heater, so when we returned to the room at night, the room was cold.

The room was satisfactory. The grounds were well kept. It was close to the golf course we were playing on.

It is in a very convenient location. It is not the most attractive or well kept in the lobby or halls.

We were trying to find a cheap hotel to stay at during the 4th of July events in Idaho Falls. It is not really that close to the fireworks show but we were able to get to and from the show without too much difficulty. It is an older property but if you don't require the latest and greatest of everything, you can't beat the price. The room was clean and the beds were firm but comfortable. It does not have a tub (shower only) and the bathroom is small. The pool area was kind of rundown but the pool was refreshing and since this hotel is off the beaten path, it was not at all crowded. Each room has a sliding door out to a beautiful grassy center area. It was a peaceful place to hang out and get away from it all. We would definitely stay here again if the price stays low.

The cleaning staff did not check out the fridge. It was nice to have a microwave, coffee & fridge in the room. It would have been nice to have extra pillows in the room. We were not able to get WiFi in the room or in the lobby. They had a computer to use but I needed mine to work. It had worked in another hotel in the same area so I'm pretty sure it wasn't my problem.

The hotel buiding is old and a bit time worn but the room was adequate and reasonably priced. Continental breakfast adequate, though the room for it a bit cramped. Still stale smell of smoke from an earlier day though happily we were in a nonsmoking room. Golf course neaby; center of town some distance--est 2 miles--away. Convenient to travel routes going north or south from the city. Very few restaurants nearby.
Date of Stay:

Actual size of the room. Pool and Hot Tub area dirty and old. The room itself was very nice in size and was clean. The pool and hot tub area was dirty and old needs to be redone.

We can't think of anything! Dirty, needs updating, unfriendly. At first glance, this hotel looks like a skid row dump. The front desk person did not greet us and was unfriendly. We did not had the king bed room. When we checked out, however, the day clerk was apologetic.
