Pine Lodge is a detached guest house situated in its own grounds standing well back from the road leading into Newquay. Porth and Lusty Glaze beaches are within easy reach with a levelwalk into town. It is ideally situated for use as a touring centre. Because of its superb position and relaxed informal atmosphere, Pine Lodge is an ideal place for a holiday at any time of the year and makes a perfect honeymoon setting. All our bedrooms are individually styled and offer full central heating, a shower or bath and toilet ensuite, colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. For breakfast you can look forward to a choice menu with a full English, continental or vegetarian breakfast. The food is prepared personally by your hosts, using the best quality local produce where possible, which has attracted many glowing comments from our regular guests. For the exclusive use of our guests, we offer a superb 40ft.x20ft. heated swimming pool (summer only) situated at the side of the guest house, with the advantage of catching the sun all day long. There is plenty of sunbathing space at the pool side or on the adjoining terrace, screened to offer full privacy. We do not cater for stag or hen groups, or male , female groups.

Pine Lodge in JulyI stayed at the Pine Lodge Hotel for the 3rd time in the last year and I have to say there has been no loss of quality. The room I stayed in was compact - it was a single, but had everything I needed including:- wall mounted digital TV, en suite facilities, tea and coffe making stuff, mineral water, hair dryer, free wiFi.I didn't use the bar/lounge or swimming pool, but both looked excellent. There was loads of car parking at the front and there was a restaurant attached.Everything was scrupulously clean and the rooms were 'done' every day. Breakfasts were excellent and the choice too was very good.Colin is a very caring and friendly host and I was made to feel very welcome. As my daughters live in the area, I will return to Newquay and I will certainly be staying at Pine Lodge. I have no hesitation recommending this excellent hotel to anybody.

lovely hoteli came down to newquay for a buisness trip and stayed in this lovely hotel. Nothing was to much trouble, and the welcome was very warm. Food, room and the outdoor pool were ideal. Would recommend, and i would be staying there again next week if they had availability!Thanks for a great stay

Pine LodgeThis Guest house is located on a busy main road on way into Newquay from the North. Large car park. Has a pool. The room was not particularly special and the bathroom was a bit old and basic. The bedroom locks were old style and not too secure, but at least they keep the hotel front door locked. The room was immaculatly clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel has a bar with cheerful barman / owner. About 20 mins walk down to seafront and start of restaurants. Newquay a bit grubby. We ate at Pizza express which has cliff top terrace with amazing view. We paid £65 for a Thursday night B&B for two.... Bargain. We would definitly stay there again.

CautionCheck cancellation policy before you book! This is a pre-purchase and cannot be cancelled. We had a last minute change of plan forced on us - only stayed one night but had to pay for the second night as the room could not be re-let at short notice. Payment in full was taken at time of booking.

One of Newquay's good guest hotelsExcellent hotel. I never had the opportunity to use the poll but some kids seemed to like it well.Only drawback is if you are not using a car it is 15min walk to centre of town.

Pine LodgeAn excellent small hotel at an amazing price! Friendly welcome and helpful assistance. My room was very small but spotlessly clean, with a modern Shower room ensuite. How do they manage to provide this level of accommodation and service at the prices they charge? I would happily stay at Pine Lodge again, and maybe get to try the swimming pool...

A lovely stayWe were visiting for a former colleague's funeral - so it was not really a leisure visit. We could not be more impressed with the way we were looked after. The weather was pretty unpleasant but we had a warm welcome - and the rooms were warm and spotless and quiet. As a group we had twin and double and single rooms and all were excellent - with good showers especially appreciated after a long journey. The breakfast was spot on. We would all readily stay there again if visiting the area.

I had a very pleasant stay at Pine Lodge. The room was quite compact, but had everything I required including wifi. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean. There was plenty of car parking space and the dining area was very good, as was the food at breakfast.I will certainly stay there again as I visit my daughters who live around Newquay.

10 out of 10 all round! Warm, friendly welcome and service; easy to find with plenty of parking; excellent home-cooked evening meal (best steak and ale pie I've tasted in ages!) and breakfast; comfortable, quiet room very tastefully decorated and with a roomy en-suite shower cubicle; great price (I'd have paid more). Will definitely stay here again when next in the area.

Extremely convenient location for getting around the area both by car and public transport (bus). Plenty of off road parking. Away from the commercialised area of the town in quiet suburb with local beach. Very nice large swimming pool if you visit in the Summer. Good sized room and very friendly owners. Open all year round. Only ate breakfast (which was very good) so can't comment on evening meals which were available.

This place was easy to find and the staff were very welcoming. The decor of the rooms could do with an upgrade and they may save more water during this time of the credit crunch if they had shower cubicles. However the customer service was first class and the breakfast was delicious.
