We are follow Alaskans going to Fairbanks for a mini vacation this winter and enjoyed our stay. The Pikes Landing Restaurant next door was hospitable and the food was top notch. We also enjoyed the cookies and all the animal mounts. On the down side, we stayed in room 220 and the hallway carpet between the room and the elevator presents a tripping hazard and needs to be replaced.

Very convenient location. Alaskan. Main restaurant rather dark and unappealing. The price was right. It met our expectations. The location was very convenient for us. Beds very comfortable.

We were booked into PIkes with a land/cruise tour, so we weren't sure what the accomodations would be like. We were very pleased, decent sized room, clean, nice bathroom. The place had an "Alaskan" look/feel to it, which we were pleased with. After al, we're in Alaska! We were located on the 2nd floor, balcony with a river view. The Pike's Restaurant located right next door had wonderful meals, which we ate there 2 times. We ate out on the patio next to the river, and the next night asked to be seated indoors, as it was a little colder. The food was great! Would do it again next time. We ate breakfast one morning at the hotel. The food was wonderful, anything you'd want (buffet), and presented beautifully. There was confusion in the seating, and people weren't around to take care of the many people waiting to be seated, but eventually they straighted it all out. I'd stay here again.

Pikes Waterfront Lodge has beautiful Alaskan decor with great antiques. The location is excellent with great scenery on the Chena River. I was impressed that they gave us a fair price during the busiest time of the year. The room was clean and comfortable. One of the best steak houses in town is right next door. I would stay here again.

Comfort, decor, convenience, and helpful staff. Nothing. Very nicely decorated rooms, comfortable beds. Beautiful lobby with a nice gift shop. The shuttle service was great! The staff was all very friendly and helpful.

Pike's reservation was part of a package and we had a paid voucher for the night there. When we arrived in Fairbanks, we were told we were being put in another facility because Pike's was filled up. We were assured it was as nice as Pikes. After a very long wait, Pike's van picks up up and deposits us at the other motel. No lounge, no restaurant, very small room, certainly not the type of facility we had signed up for and paid for. We were told to use the Pike's van. Called for van to take us to dinner. After very long wait, called again. Were told van was leaving immediately to pick us up. A minute later, observed van driving on main road to airport. Called again, and were told van was just leaving to pick us up (obviously untrue). Took van from motel we were put in, shared with another couple that were "bounced" by Pike's and were equally unhappy. Later talked to Pike's General Manager and asked for a refund. She assured us she would call back. Told her we were staying at Sophie's Station (great place) for next 4 nights. No call from Pike's. Left 3-4 messages on voicemail with no response. Very shabby treatment.

Provided an Alaskan atmosphere. I had to return to the lobby from my room in a separate building because my key card would not allow room entry. Pikes is a fine Alaskan Hotel.

We spent 3 great nites in this motel and everything was just perfect. Not fancy but met and exceeded all our needs. Great view of the river. Pet friendly. Comfortable beds, clean, quiet, and great staff. Price was excellent. WIll definately return.

The makeup was of old school. It was between the airport and down town. if you didn't come from airport it was a long travel.

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved the atmosphere. There was a large area downstairs with a big tv/dvd player. We played movies for our kids while we sat around the tables and chatted. The front desk had fresh cookies and coffee every night and the breakfast from 6-9 was great.
