Would stay there again. new and modern. We went with our three children aged 1, 4 and 5. Room for them to play and eat there. Our bedroom had a rather unattractive smell though. If it wasn't such a busy time I would have asked to be moved. Our friends' room down the hall was okay though.

It met my expectations. Very close to the Tour Eiffel and buses to go to different attractions. I would return there

I was extremely pleased with this hotel the staff were very friendly, helpful and were mines of information. When I visit Paris again I will definitely be staying at this hotel as it is only 10 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower where it is always busy.

The hotel was nice and new, clean and tidy - staff friendly. Only downside was that we had a non-smoking room, however it wasn't a non-smoking floor. So there was a noticable smell of smoke in the room.

This was actually a very good place to stay. The view was excellent and the staff very helpful. The only downside was the location - not much to do in the immediate vicinity but Metro and Eiffel tower were close.

very good customer service! stylish, modern and freindly atmosphere. as the hotel has two sides known as the montparnasse and the seine; the seine side of the hotel has the best landscape view, however first come first serve basis is offered to the best rooms. Excellent location with supermarket 3 minutes walk away, and the eiffel tower is only a 15 min walk away. Very close to the city centre with taxi and metro stands all within minutes walk away from the hotel.

We had the studio apartment, which was compact but had everything we needed. After an initial glitch with our booking when we arrived, things went smoothly. The staff are helpful with concert/tour bookings and information, if a little brusque. The location is mostly good; close to the metro, shops, restaurants and cafes and you can walk to the Eiffel Tower. Less positive are the immediate surrounds of the building; a bit dodgy and like entering a run-down bus terminal before you enter the bright and modern reception of the Adagio complex itself. The area seems to be in transition and so it’s a bit depressing. In terms of cost, you can do better. We had just come from a nice three-star hotel that cost less (and included a courtesy tea and coffee tray), was much closer to the centre in a nice area and with a bigger room. The photos are a little misleading, giving the impression that all rooms have excellent views. Not so. Perhaps Adagio could be a bit clearer about the rooms, distinguishing between nice-view rooms (Eiffel tower side) and not-so-nice-view rooms and reflect this in the pricing. Overall, handy if you want to self-cater. As a further note, we found the Parisians to be very kind and helpful. The only thing is, watch out for the crottes (doggie business) on the streets! The guide books aren’t exaggerating.

One of the problems we encountered when we arrived at the hotel is the fact that they didn't find our reservation on their network and had to call the central. I would understand if we had reserved earlier in the day or a day before, but not a week before! Otherwise, the place was clean and comfortable, we stayed at the 28th floor with view on the Seine. I suppose it was the best floor, because we had a view on absolutely everything: the Eiffel Tower, the Seine, Sacré-Coeur, les Invalides. That part was amazing. During our stay, we thought of something for the hotel: instead of having a dishwasher, they could change it with a washing machine as it is more useful in hotels -even though there's a floor made for washing and drying clothes-.
