Date of Stay:

rooms with thin walls; affiliated restaurant charged us even though we had breakfast vouchers from the hotel; fire alarm went off at 4:30 am and hotel had to be evacuated; hotel hosted a wedding one night in the lobby so the rooms were horribly noisy until 11:00pm

Very different from most hotels. Great place , convenient, clean, classy hotel.

The staff was very accommodating and the facility was very unique. The only disappointment about the hotel was the fact that they did not provide parking and it cost over $20 dollars a night to park the car.

It had great location and the lobby was exceptionally cool. They tried to charge a destination fee and gave me 2 doubles instead of a king. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay.

I have to say that the bed, pillow & down comforter were not only more comfortable than any other hotels but also my own! I loved the boutique bodywash & lotion. My son enjoyed his stay there as well- it was hard to get him to leave the room!

Cleanliness and location. Extra hidden charges ice place to stay.

Seeded like a fairly new property. Located next to the National Aquarium, and two blocks from Little Italy. We didn't get the best room. The small balcoy over looked the A/C units...so we didn't use this space. I believe the better rooms cost alittle more. I will call ahead next time and see if I can get a more choice location.

Nicely appointed rooms, great location. Some items not in great repair, a little loud. Great location, nicely decorated, room furniture a bit worn/uncomfortable desk chair.

The bed and bedding and towels were excellent. The TV, remote controls and heat/AC were terrible. The rooms were attractive but the TV and remote were useless. The have nice flat screen TV but the function ability of the remote was not good. The heat was very noisy so when the fan kicked on about every 3 to 4 minutes the volume for the TV had to be adjusted up and then down. The staff was excellent.

Friendly staff, comfortable room. Hear people in next room. Great location. Walking distance to museums, restaurants and shopping. Friendly staff. Had a problem hearing guest in next room during the night.

Atmosphere; information created for inauguration. Dirty bed linen; parking not affiliated with hotel & very expensive. Hotel is very nice, but you get charged a $10 for internet service. An activity, water in your room. We were there for the inauguration so we had to check out extremely early, but the friendly staff did provide information for the inaugural events, closings, etc., and gave a $50 gift certificate to be used towards our next stay. I thought that was nice.

The Staff was the friendliest people. Not too many amenities such as room service at night-we couldn't find a room service menu in the room. For my needs in this trip the hotel was perfect! I did not need too many amenities to make use of since I was traveling for the inauguration. But we did notice that there were not too many services like room service or a pool to make use of for the children in our trip. Also working the TV remote was absolutely impossible, even after a technician gave us a new one. They were new TV but I could not access the channels; there was no response and I really wanted to watch Inauguration details while at the hotel.

They were helpful with all concerns and questions. I have no complaints. I would certainly recommend for any traveler. This was the best experience I ever had with an overnight stay.

Boutique/downtown near convention and activities. There was no parking at the hotel, you had to valet $32, or walk a distance. The breakfast we ordered left something to be desired. I would not use room service there again, but overall it was great.

Lovely lobby, big empty (working) fridge, partial water view, crabby afternoon lobby snacks. Non-smoking room still had smoky smell; room was right next to very loud outdoor fans. The lobby staff was friendly and helpful. Awful as that sounds, otherwise the room was pretty nice and with the window closed, the noise was cut down significantly (but not eliminated). Beds were comfy, bathroom clean. No health club, no pool. And they tack on a mandatory $9.95 service charge whether you use the services or not. Still, making it a mandatory add on (rather than just factoring it into the cost of the room) is just sneaky and greedy.

I liked everything about it, but mostly harbor view and comfortable bed. There was nothing to dislike. This was a great boutique hotel. Lobby was colorful with modern furniture that was very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I had room on third floor, so had high slanted ceiling, made room feel more spacious. Only disadvantage was no balcony, though I could open slider, take advantage of view of harbor. Bed was very comfortable, lots of comfy pillows. Aquarium was right next door, two great restaurants adjoining hotel, within walking distance of Little Italy. I loved it here, will stay here again, hopefully in near future.

Location, restaurants and the hotel staff was extremely accommodating. The bathroom could have been cleaner as well as the bed spread. The only thing I did not like about the hotel was the fact that our room overlooked the air-conditioning vents and was extremely noisy. The staff other wise was wonderful.

Absolutely ideal location. Parking a bit tricky, took a while to get into lot. The Pier 5 hotel is a great place to stay if you're looking for a nice hotel in the ideal Inner Harbor location in Baltimore, MD. My husband really enjoyed our stay there, including a wonderful dinner on the patio at McCormick and Schmick's. We were minutes away from all of the main attractions we wanted to visit, and taking the water taxi into Fell's Point was an added bonus.

Great location. Gave us rooms over boiler and try to add charges once we got there. This hotel is in a great area, but they charged all of us extra 10.00 a day for use of internet, phone calls, bottle water and other facilities.

Fantastic location. No on-site gym. Couldn't ask for a better location. The afternoon crab and truffle sessions were a great treat, as was the concept of two daily complimentary bottles of water in your room. Unique, calming ambiance. Plus, having Ruth's Chris and McCormick and Schicks in the same building really is a bonus.
