Phra Nang Lanta

The Phra Nang Lanta hotel is located on the secluded beach of Ba Kan Tieng Bay on Koh Lanta Yai, close to the National Park and 20 minutes' drive from the Saladan Pier. Krabi Pier is a 2-hour boat ride away, whilst Krabi International Airport can be reached in 2.5 hours by car.

Each of the 15 rooms has been individually designed according to holiday themes and local flora inspirations, with the aim of serving the needs of 5 different target groups: honeymooners, families, young travellers, senior guests and those who just want to escape from it all. This is a luxury hotel with the charm of a holiday home that offers personalised service, big famous Thai smiles and, of course, stunning views of the crescent-shaped bay. Guests are welcomed into the lobby and can enjoy the convenience of the on-site restaurant.

The air-conditioned hotel rooms are spacious and stylish with rustic-chic ambience, colourful tile decor and wooden floors. The beds have been uniquely set in the middle of the room providing direct sea views through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows, which open out onto the private balcony. The rooms also feature a large day bed designed as a sitting area that can easily be turned into a third bed. All rooms have a separate bathtub and shower area as well as a hand-painted wash basin. Further facilities include direct dial telephone, TV set, minibar, in-room safe and tea and coffee making facilities.

The hotel occasionally offers a one week retreat camp, limited to approximately 25 people. The programme consists of daily yoga and meditation classes run by guest instructors from respected yoga schools; body massages; healthy cuisine to detoxify the body; cultural classes such as Thai dancing; and some day trips to explore the local attractions. On-site facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a sauna, and spa and massage treatments. Guests looking to get active can try their hand at diving, canoeing and mountain biking.

Breakfasts are served a la carte, whereas dinners are to be selected from a daily changing menu of 4-course meals featuring fresh seafood and local ingredients.
