One of my friends and I stayed here for 2 nights in March. Our room was a little bit on the small side, but the bathroom was very nice and everything else at the Resort was wonderful. The restaurant was very good. Breakfast was excellent and the views from the restaurant were beautiful!. We could see people working in the fields or fishing in the river. It was exactly how we had pictured Vietnam. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and there were people on the river in a boat lighting lanterns and putting them in the water to float. It was so cool! The pool is also very nice. The staff was attentive.

Serenity We stayed at the Pho Hoi Riverside Resort in January 2009 for 5 nights and this was one of the highlights of our trip. Location is great...overlooking the River with water buffaloes wandering about....brightly lit lanterns floating down the river at night.....only US$3.00 by taxi to the Hoi An Beach . Peaceful and quiet. The rooms were spacious and well furnished, staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast very good. Overall we found the Riverside a fantastic place to stay. The location...peaceful and quiet but only a few minutes from the old town.

I had a pleasant time at the Pho Hoi Riverside Resort. I was at this resort 3 years ago and it has changed so much in this time. I have a new restaurant that is big and spacious and a swimming pool that has a beautiful view over the river. The staff was fantastic at this resort; worm and friendly also the reception were very helpful with any queries or questions i had Overall an excellent place

Excellent place to stay. Very close to the centre of town and the staff were more than willing to do anything we asked. The tours that run out of the resort are quite cheap and through one of the best tour companies. Definitely recommend!

Excellent location - across the river from old town. Enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff. Not happy with hotel that they charge more for services (e.g. phone calls, taxi to airport) than stated in hotel info brochure in room - they keep syaing brochure out of date??

Except for a handful of staff who are not relatives, staying there was like a privilege granted by the owner and his family - 'good morning' was returned with a hostile stare. The room is dirty; no ventilation in the bathroom; vanity taps leak incessantly; and no attempts to cover the stench from the sewer. Presume the compulsory charge of new year's eve gala dinner was scrapped when closer to the date due to poor attendance, but the loud hailers were enough to send people scurrying away, let alone the quantity of food.
