Overall, I had a good stay. The staff at the hotel is very friendly. The only issues I had were - the AC in my room as well as the room next to me was very noisy. the toilet/bathroom with single rooms are not that nice compared to the room.

The Hotel was well located and well priced for what we got. The room was great with plenty of space (2 bedrooms). The hotel is old (really only 3 * at best) but functional. Breakfast was fine with hot and cold options. Room was noisy (traffc) but that is Cairo!! Staff were very helpful with great service and very useful (and accurate) advice and didn't constantly have their hands out for tips which made a change in Egypt! I would recommend if your plan is sightseeing in Cairo. If you want to hang around the hotel and relax, this is probably not for you.

I shortened my stay because of lack of adequate and quick tourism facilities, besides the traffic was very dangerous aboard the transportation means and as a pedestrian as well, people were nice and helpful , though. It is very useful to learn a handful of arabic phrases and not to speak english as a first option, wait until they do. I stayed five days in Cairo, try to arrange all your lodging, transportation, tours and excursions prior to your arrival. Hospitality at the hotel is excellent and so is the food, did I mention it was cheap as well?

The service was great, people really trying their best, which is all one can ask for in Egypt. The air con was loud, but at least there was air con! They arranged our pickup from the airport which was really necessary, and the price quoted fair, but the airport helper was unecessary and also had to be paid. Don't be conned!
