Main plus point was that it was very near main attractions. Breakfast was expensive so we found a very good local cafe opposite the Cathedral and ate for under half the price charged in hotel.Did not like glass door on bathroom- too open to onlookers especially if in ground floor room like us. Our room looked out on inner patio and we could smell smoke in room all the time as people sat out there smoking. Also had to have curtains closed as felt people could look in. Despite this we thoroughly enjoyed Seville and closeness to main sites made up for the above .

After looking at many sites and checking out dozens of reviews on different hotels in Seville we decided upon the Petit Palace, which, based upon the reviews, had everything we needed. Everything went smoothly with the check-in, we requested a room that did not face the street, since I knew from the reviews, that the streets in that neighborhood have many bars and can get quite noisy. Our room was HUGE by European standards, I don't know if they gave us an upgrade, but I definitely payed for a standard room. The room had a king bed and a twin beside it, so it's perfect if you're travelling with a couple of friends or a small family. The bathroom was also large, modern and spotless, the shower was THE BEST, SPA like with jets that spray water at different heights. The location of the hotel cannot be better, even though is not right next to the Giralda, but Seville, or it's historic center rather, is small and all the sites, restaurants and shops are within a few blocks. Didn't try the restaurant for breakfast, since I didn't want to shell out 25Euro pp. Instead, walk over to one of the bars and have a bocadillo y cafe like the locals do, for around 3Euro. Over all, Petit Palace Marques de Santa Ana was a great experience, modern without being stark, spotless, fabulous location and excellent value for your money.

If breakfast is included - get up early to have it - the orange juice is usually gone early! plus it can get busy round the sel-service area. If not included in room rate - dont pay the extra. Nice clean modern hotel. good location, spacious rooms and huge bed! Reception staff fairly helpful.

This hotel was a surprise - a very pleasant one at that. It is very clean and the rooms are modern and nicely fitted out. It's location could not be better for the centre of old Seville. we never had to use a taxi at all and were so pleased with the hotel/Seville that we extended our stay by 2 days. We only had breakfast in the hotel but it was very nice. In fact this was the best hotel we stayed in during our 2 week Spanish tour.

Very good hotel in an ideal location. Staff friendly, efficient and responsive. A laptop in the room provided free was a welcome extra. The one criticism I would have is the breakfast provision. The size of the breakfast buffet area was far too small. With only one coffee machine there was a lot of queuing, making the space even more tight. And the hot food ran out frequently.

We were in a room- 001 on the ground floor facing inwards, which meant there was very little natural light in the room, that would be my only criticism.

The Hotel was very nicely appointed throughout, but surprisingly small, with basic rooms, although again, nicely appointed.I didn't feel that this hotel represented good value for money on the whole considering the choices available off season, with it's only strength being a very good location. Other hotels i have stayed in Seville, have presented better value.
