Great location but make sure you turn left out of the entrance to Gran Via in order to avoid all. Near all big shops, tube station and easy walking direct to Plaza Mayor, Teatro Reale and Palacio Reale. Although contemporary it is shabby with need of a few DIY jobs in the room Shower great and good hair dryer for the ladies. The value was in the location.

very close to the metro and hotel just off Gran Via...and most places are in walking distance or a metro ride away...only 40 minutes by metro to the hotel...staff at the hotel were also very accommodating, friendly and very helpful

This hotel was located in an excellent location. The rooms were very clean and the staff was helpful. Being an American, I am used to amenities that were not at this hotel. There was no coffee maker in the room, no clock/radio - I had to call for a wake up call instead of setting an alarm clock (so bring a travel clock). There was no iron or ironing board in the room, but they did supply one when I requested it. The bunk bed were only for small children, because if you are a tall you will either bump your head on the lower bed, or be very uncomfortable climbing the ladder to the top bunk. There was a safe in the closet. The breakfast buffet looked very nice, but for the money we went elsewhere.
