Reservation quote should have identified that the quote was for 2 people. I would have stayed elsewhere had I known how much the room was actually going to cost. Much nicer hotels were available for about the same cost for 3. Also the hotel still has my debit card held up for the full amount of the room even though the payment has already gone through.

Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff. Our bags wer late in arriving due to cock-up at Heathrow but the staff happily chased things up for us and let us get on with our holiday. Really nice rooms, very modern. Irish pub 50 yards away, what more do you want?

I stayed with my family I booked using travel website, I stated that I arrived with my family I provided the proper information and booked a family room with one queen and two bunked beds for up to 4 people, me my wife and my two kids. Then several day later I recieve an email from travel website saying that the hotel was asking for the age of my children wich I provided. Once I arrived to Valencia the hotel informed me thta they will be a price increase because I had my kids in the family room, so I had to pay 30% more. Then I asked for the garage wich do not exist, at the end I paid 50% more that the rated offered by travelocity so buyer be aware and be prepared to pay more.

Like other reviewers, we had a nightmare trying to find this place - it's down a back alley, behind another back alley! Even the locals we asked had no idea where it was and the map supplied was completely useless. That said, it was a quiet location, just a very short walk from the centre of town. There's no private parking either (as listed in the available facilities) and be warned that you can't get a tea or coffee outside of breakfast time. The rooms certainly weren't soundproofed, again as advertised... The bizarre clear glass door for the bathroom mentioned by other reviewers has been sorted (at least in our room), and the shower has tiny trough around it that overflows if you stay in the shower for more than a couple of minutes. Moans out of the way - the rooms and beds were comfortable (although the top bunk didn't have a top guard and our 6 year old son was in danger of falling out in the middle of the night. In the end we hemmed him in with pillows!). The staff were professional if not exactly bowled over to see you, but they did speak good English and knew what they were doing. I was able to buy tickets for the Oceanografic institute, but they could only accept payment for these in cash. No cards! Never mind, I thought, at least I'll save a queue when I get there... however, the queue for tickets was tiny compared to that for reserved tickets! My advice is, don't bother! We had a family room which was spacious and the a/c worked fine, breakfast was great and good value for money. We stayed for one night on a weekday and didn't have any of the noise problems mentioned by other reviewers. The location is the Petit Palace Bristol Hotel Valencia's biggest advantage and now that I know how to find it I'd definitely stay again.

The reception was friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean but whoever came up with the idea of having a glass door to the ensuite must be made. This is a very badly designed and daft idea - if someone used the bathroom in the night it woke the rest of us up as the door squeaked and the light came through the glass. Also, I asked for a triple room when in fact we were given a double room with a camp bed. The location was very central and just about made up for the other problems but when you walked out on the street it smelt very badly of drains. I don't think I would stay here again.

The family room was really small, you can't have the bed open and walking in the room together. Bathroom was very small too. Instead the hotel is nice and the location excellent.

Excellent hotel. I suggest it since is in the very heart of Valencia, clean and comfortable. Of course I would stay there again if I'll go to Valencia again some time.

I have stayed in High Tech hotels in Barcelona, Seville and now Valencia. Rated in order Valencia came third, mainly because of reasons beyond their control. There is a very noisy and late bar opersite the hotel and a few metres from the hotel there is a big green trash dumpster that always had rubbish around it weather empty or full. BUT,overall not a bad place to stay. The family rooms are good value. For a quiter spot, check out The Astoria Palace just around the corner, no family rooms there.

Everything was fine, I would suggest the Petit Palace Bristol Hotel Valencia for everybody but if you take a double bed room, the price is the high but in right relation with location of the hotel. If you take a 4 person bad room, it's cheaper and relationship between price/quality is excellent.

We had to wait until 14h30 to check in (the site said 12h), and the people at the desk didn't even apologize. The room was on the street, in front of a club, and was very noisy at night. But the location was excellent and the room very nice and spacious.

El hotel está muy bien situado. En recepción son simpatiquísimos. Las habitaciones no estaban muy limpias.

Almost impossible to find with all the one-way narrow streets. Hotel staff were not helpful about finding parking or other major locations in town such as airport. Lost in the city 3 1/2 hours trying to find airport and then get back from it. Hotel staff gave me a map and said it was a 20-minute drive. Map very unhelpful. Room clean but very small.

Mit Auto nicht zu empfehlen! Autofreie Altstadtzone mit winzigen Zufahrten, obwohl ein PP ausgeschrieben ist, hat das Hotel keinen zur Verfügung.

Besides of the excellent and central position of the hotel, the hotel itself was not convincing. The room was poorly cleaned, the lift only worked with problems, the special announced hydrosomething shower was defect and we waited hours before rooms were ready. One main annoyance of the room was the glass door of the bathroom, where you could see everything and have a clear look to the toilet!

1.Amazing bathroom door is in clear glass! No privacy! 2.No safe handle in the shower cabinet. 3. Hot water: littel warm only!!! The location is perfect, room quiet. Quality/vs Price good.

Just a suggestion: it would be helpfull to have air forced into the toilette because it doesn't have windows and the humidity goes into the room..for the rest excellent hotel-position
