EXCELLENT hotel!! Staff is awesome--very accomodating, friendly and well versed in three languages! Everyone was willing to give change, help with directions, advise on where to go for whatever you needed. They definitely know how to make clients feel welcome! We would definitely stay here again.

Not the best hotel in Barcelona. The staff were not very helpfull or friendly. My room was nice enough but it was very noisy as there was some sort of generator above my room that made loads of noise 24 hrs a day. The lift also broke during my stay and i was staying on the top floor. This obviously caused problems and the reception staff didn't even bother to let guests know straight away what was going on with the lift! This hotel is overpriced in my opinion.

Room was almost exactly as pictured in the website. The staff was not overly friendly but they were nice. It was really a plus to have a computer in the room to access emails and get city information... Bathroom was really nice. The only negative but not that bad was that our room's "balcony" overlooked a school yard. The kids were a little noisy early in the morning but were pretty entertaining!!!

Great location but there are better hotels close by. Internet access was good, no bar, English speaking staff but they were somewhat unhelpful. Room was small. Overall I will not stay there again.

I thought breakfast was included in the price. I did not notice on the web, that it was not. Maybe you can communicate that better on the web. Apart from that, the hotel, personell and location was great.

Petit Palace BCN is a great place for people who want a care-free but aesthetic and friendly hotel. The accomodations are modern, classy, totally clean and just right for the modern, hip city of Barcelona. I can't say enough about the staff - from the welcoming desk to the people in the breakfast room - friendly, prompt, helpful, knowledgeable. One staff person, on his break, volunteered to show me the local apothecary and then proceeded to help me find the closest, open one! Very very gracious too. The hotel location is super - 2-3 blocks away from the airport bus at Pl. Catalyuna and the important Tourist Center in the Pl, 2-3 blocks from the un-touristy part of Bari Gothic, 2-3 blocks from the wonderful Modernism architecture. One note - however, we were on a 3rd floor street view room-if the window was closed, we didn't hear any traffic. If the window was open, well then..... so if you do not want any traffic noise (anywhere in B-ona) specify interior window room. We love the view and will always pick a street room. However, there was no interior noise (room to room). In sum, Petit Palace BCN was great and we can't wait to go back!

Enjoyed my time at the Hotel, there were minor glitches, not enough towels in the family room and on one occasion the fold away beds were not made but for the price that I paid it was clean, friendly and in a good location. I also really appreciated the having a laptop in the room with free internet connection. One tip - do not let the hotel organise a taxi for you as you are charged for the journey to the hotel and any waiting time, just outside the hotel is a taxi waiting area and its really easy to flag one down.

The hotel is great - new and very modern. Rooms exactly as shown on website. Only complaint is we had a room at front of hotel and the traffic noise was quite bad (even late at night and early in the morning) ... ask for a room at the back.

Modern, young hotel in an old but refurbished building. Rooms with stylish bathroom, large TV screen. Very clean ! Close to Subway and Placa Catalunya. We can really recommend that place !

Well located although there is a little walking to closest metro station (2 blocks). The rooms an public areas do not invite for an 'in-hotel' time spending unless you are an Internet addict; no real resting area in the room, only option to use the bed. If you do not go for breakfast then even a cup of coffee is a problem - coffee/tea making facility in room would be a nice addition. Mini bar very poor! Hotel bar also. Then - you have to get used to black and red atmosphere; especially the very dark corridor will take you by surprise. Generally good hotel, but except for sleeping and Internet they could offer a bit more for the money and 4+ stars they claim.

We had a family room at Petit Palace Opera Garden (we were before arrival offered to transfere from Petit Palace BCN due to unfinished construction work.)We had a great time in Barcelona and can recommend the hotel (Opera Garden) to families that want to experience the best of the city, incluing the fantastic beaches (walking distance, even for kids from the hotel).
