I have been in Madrid three times and this was my first one in this hotel. It is a nice facility, with a very good location near to the center of the city and metro stations. Is a good option if you want to enjoy the old Madrid.

THis hotel has the greatest bathroom I have ever encountered, including all Hiltons, Sheratons, Four Seasons and Hyatts I stayed in. A wonderfull shower! The bedroom itself is absolutely fine as well, the location is great, next to Puerto do Sol. Can recommend this hotel without reservation and will stay in it again whenever I am in Madrid,

Excellent location, reception were helpful and polite.Word of warning,do not accept a room on the first floor, you can hear everything that is going on in the lobby area all night,no bar or reataurant, they seem to have plucked the four stars on their door from the sky as all it seems to be is a glorified bed and breakfast.

The Staff are rude, do not speak English and are incompetent. When we checked out, we discovered a bottle of Champagne was on the bill. After continuous refusal to pay for something that we had not ordered or received the Manageress ,with contempt, took it off the bill. We then presented our Mastercard for payment. After a few minutes she announced in a loud voice "Card no good" get cash!. As we knew there was more than enough in our account we persisted. After 1 hour and us ringing mastercard, the hotel refused to do this, we were informed that the hotels machine was not requesting payment. We told this to the managress who reset the machine and voila the payment went through. She walked off with no apologies. We should have known from the start that there would be trouble. We had prebooked and had confirmed a smoking room. When we arrived they said we had not and that none were available. Anyway, when we returned to Ireland we discovered the mystery o the Champagne. A friend had contacted the hotel to arrange for champagne to be put in our room for my wifes 40th birthday. Not only was the champagne not delivered, and not only did they try to charge us, they actually took the money out of my friends account (which after a battle) they refunded. ANYONE WHO STAYS IN THIS HOTEL NEEDS THEIR HEAD EXAMINED.

Stay if you can sleep through a bomb blast! The road is a MAJOR road and the noise from the road is tremendous.

We arrived mid morning and we didn't get to check in until 2 pm. We had to wait for two hours for the room to be ready. We continously had to check with the front desk to see if our room is ready and were told a couple times that it it will be a few minites but the minutes turned into hours. This was supposed to be a 4 star hotel but the service we had was for a one or two star category. I could even get a better service from a 2-star hotel as compared to our experience. I don't think that I will come back to stay or recommend it to others. We wasted precious time waiting instead of sightseeing on our very limited time of stay in Madrid.

Posizione eccellente per visitare la città , rapporto qualità prezzo buono , pessima la qualità degli impiegati alla Reception.

Very modern but with big problems. For instance, when you switch on the light in the bathroom, all the room is illuminated at a daylight level! Architects did not think from a customers's point of view.

The room was quite big and comfortable. The hotel was nice to stay in - again the photographs made it look more exotic than it was. The elevator was kinda funky since one couldn't see outside the elevator as there was no window. Also, the elevator was too small. At night the experience of entering the hotel was not great since the restaurant next door kept its trash cans right outside the door. Also, the entrance is too big and too hard to pull open. For the price, I wouldn't say it is just about right.
