Peter Island, dripping in Caribbean views, unspoiled and enchanting, is the largest private island among the loose array of 60 islands, cays and exposed reefs that comprise the British Virgin Islands. Just four miles south of Tortola, the island offers travelers 1,800 acres of uninhabited, unsurpassed privacy, intimacy, and lush, native vegetation in addition to world-class snorkeling and diving. The island is surrounded by the Caribbean Sea, Sir Francis Drake Channel and the Atlantic Ocean.

Peter Island Resort and Spa is accessible from the Beef Island Airport. A 30-minute boat trip from Tortola, Peter Island offers five white-sand beaches, green hills, and expansive views of neighboring islands.

Complimentary activities include tennis, beach volleyball, Big Reef Bay exercise trail, fitness center, basketball, hiking/biking trails, Hobie Cat sailboats/Sunfish sailboats, horticulture tours, mountain bikes, sea kayaks, snorkeling equipment, transportation to remote beaches, weekly managers' cocktail reception, windsurfing, swimming pool, poolside bar and more.

What are your breakfast options?: We have two restaurants, Tradewinds & Deadman’s Beach Bar & Grill. We serve breakfast at Tradewinds each morning with an a la carte menu & buffet offering. We also have room service. Breakfast is available from 8:00 am – 10:00 am.
What transport is available to get around?: Peter Island is a private island accessible only by boat. We meet our guests at the airport upon arrival and escort them to our ferry via taxi. Guests are not permitted to drive on Peter Island, but we do have golf carts and air conditioned vans to transport guests to the more remote beaches and scenic areas on the island.
What can I do nearby?: The nightlife available at Peter Island is centered on the couples own interest and other couples who intermingle together. We are a private island with no other clubs or resorts on the island, and our staff departs the island each night. Therefore, after dinner, our guests usually linger in one of our two bar lounges, the media center or entertain themselves.
Do you have internet?: We have complimentary Wi-Fi in all our rooms & Jr. Suites.
