The stay on Christmas Day 2008 was so relaxing we stayed on and had a very enjoyable time.All the staff are exceptional,their level of service towards all guests that we observed is exactly what some other hotels could strive for.It might have some tired decour,but for a 2 day break it was perfect for us.We stayed at another hotel a few weeks later,didn't like their restaurant, so walked 2 blocks for a meal at the 'Ambasso'.Loved it!!

The hotel was great! Had the Executive Rooms and i was impressed with the size of the rooms as well as the layout.

Beds were hard and I hated the way they moved around it was almost impossible to sit up and watch TV because the bed would slide out from the wall, but the hotel generally was OK.

Nice hotel with very good facilities, but very far from CBD and Northbridge, a very long walk to any restaurants and bars. Try to stay in the refurbished rooms as the other ones are very basic & old.

Nice hotel, recently renovated, good facilities, clean modern rooms, check in n check out staffs are really friendly n efficient. this is our no 1 choiced hotel for our numerous business stays per year in Perth. Broadband internet abit slow when congested but cant complain, is free!!

Nice hotel, friendly staffs, have always stayed at this hotel when in perth on a bussiness trip. But price hike lately got us looking elsewhere. othen then that , no complaints.

As a hotel that is located not far from Perth's CBD it is an exceptional hotel for the people that are travelling and don't want to be too close to the city life. i enjoyed my stay at the hotel and plan on going back there next time i visit Perth!

Very dated, smell of cigertte smoke vey bad. Badly needs refurbishment. Internet facillitiy very basic. I wouldn't recommend a stay here

Convenient city location, walking distance to shopping, reataurants and tourist attractions.

Found the hotel was nice and close for walking to places, but were a little disappointed when for 10 nights we were put into a room next to the laundry which was noisy mainly from an air condit. and of course the machines going. We asked to be moved which we were but no apologies from them. Otherwise the room we had was clean and the service good. We were only there to sleep so for the price was good.

The hotel is a good choice because the staffs are nice, they will update your room if there is avavilability. I paid the price of standard room but I finally got the corporate room! The room is big and clean and nice, the toilet is big too. The only thing is the location is not at the main streets. I took taxi after dinner and it only costs around $10. Must recommend to friends.

Nice hotel trying its best to be more than 3.5 stars. New refurbished rooms (I stayed in Corporate room) are really nice and spacious - do not know how the rest looks like. The hotel itself needs a bit more work though (elevators etc). Staff is really helpful! given the same budget, will most likely stay there next time.

The Perth Ambassador was generally a clean and tidy hotel but very dated and needs updating to be kept up with the surrounding hotels and the growing infrastructure. The prices in Australia are generally higher than New Zealand so we did find it expensive for the quality and services.

Excellent location as only 20 mins walk to city centre or free public transport is just around the corner. Room was rather small but very clean. Front desk was helpful and open 24 hours. A good choice for the budget traveller.

We were in a large (Delux?) room and found it very comfortable. It was huge, with a separate lounge area. THere was nothing flash, but everything worked well and we would happily stay here again. Breakfast was good value for money.
