Sosua is beautiful, the old place is need to tern down, the owner is nice guy, but this place is not, this place is a rack.

I've stayed at Perla de Sosua for a lengthy stay (several nights) and would return in a heartbeat for many reasons: 1. It's close to EVERYTHING. The beach is close, the bars are close, the supermarket is right around the corner, and the bank is practically next door! There are literally dozens of restaurants ... all within walking distance. 2. It's secluded enough to allow for a good night's rest without noise, traffic; however, it's close enough to everything you could possibly want. 3. The housekeeping staff is thorough, and willing to please. 4. There is A/C which you definitely need in the Dominican Republic! In fact, the A/C in my room was too cold some nights. 5. The refrigerator allowed me to keep my bottled water cold, and some snacks available so I didn't have to go out for a snack if I wanted. 6. The owner must be very familiar with Sosua, and the Dominican Republic overall, because he can make any type of recommendation based on your needs, your budget or simply your likes/dislikes. As a solo female traveler, all the above are important to me. The next time I visit Sosua, I will check availability at Perla de Sosua because I felt very comfortable there.

me and a friend stay at this place for a week, at sosua we had a great time, the only bed place was this perla de sosua . this place is old, we looking forward for our next trip, but this time we are not going to stay at this place. only 1 star !!!

the review of the 4 star is by the complex owner, the next building in under constriction, so from 8am till 4pm there is big booms, hammering, braking, big noises, also the shower is in UN acceptable condition. please be advise.

the very worse place to be, this place is very old , dirty, and very noise. very Small place, the pic provided by the place is different from reality.

this is 50 years old apartment complex. this facility is very very poor, also most of the day the ac is off, if you looking to go 50 years back you welcome to this place.

The VERY best thing is the location. The small 11 unit property is centrally location in Sosua, just behind the Popular Bank. so it is walking distance to everything in Sosua Second best feature is that considering you are in the heart of Sosua, the place is VERY quiet, hidden and secluded Third, you can get a FULL SIZED apartment, 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom, plus I think they have some smaller studios, but I had a 1,000 sqft 2 bedroom apartment with living room, dining room and kitchen
