| Very disappointing...
Spent the first three nights with minimal sleep due to the 24hr Charlie Chans Bar on the bottom floor. We asked to be moved after the first night but weren't allowed. The toilet was broken & wouldn't flush, the air conditioning was out of action for a night & you can't open windows. More a backpacker then a boutique hotel. I'm not usually fussy but would not stay here again. |

Services in the counter is very good and friendly. But housekeepers need to do their best. Sometimes they didn't vacuum the floor and they never changed empty shampoo. Overally I recommend this hotel to stay in Sydney. The location is good to visit all good sighting places and shopping places in Sydney.

perfect location. cooking facilities and breakfast room pretty big, while rooms were small, but alright if you don't stay in the hotel all the time. Although located right on george street not noisy (but we had a room in 4th level out the back). bathroom and room was clean but nothing special (alright for the price). staff always friendly and helpful and tour booking available at reception. all in all a good hotel for its price. i would stay here again.

Only a central light in room and no bedside tables and not enough light to read a book prior to sleeping!

Very disappointing! On arrival at the hotel in the evening the reception desk was unmanned. The room was quite a shock...basic,more like a backpackers hostel room than a 'boutique hotel'.No tea/coffee facilities in the room. The elevator worked only occasionally so guests had to walk up several levels of stairs. This was not a physical problem for us, but certainly was for other elderly guests in the hotel at the time. Happily, the receptionist on duty the following morning was much more congenial than the one we encountered the previous evening. However, we would not recommend this hotel to friends!

Rooms are small, but if you just want somewhere to sleep that's cheap, this is OK.

The experience was not enjoyable. Cleanliness: The room was clean. Blankets on bed (yuck) not clean. Facilities: No chair/table to work at. The bed doesnt have a cover over the blanket. Couldn't watch TV because its located on the wall above the cupboardbut the bed faces the bathroom. So if you want to watch TV you have to sit sideways on the bed and look way up towards the ceiling. Totally useless placement. Service: Ordinary. Didnt get any milk on Wednesday(but most hotels seem to forget at least once/week). Also had to ask for replacement of tissues although a note was left asking for more. Location: great.

Basically over priced for the room. Beds not that comfortable,No shower accessories ie shower cap. No Hand towels.Draught coming in the main door. No hand basin plug (a sign advised a running water tap used 9ltrs a minute) Extremely noisy Would only stay there again if arounf $120-$130 and in a back room.

I would stay here again, very handy to chinatown, paddys market & transport. Just make sure you don't get a front room as very noisy.

The best feature of this hotel is the location. It is located in the heart of Sydney, close to everything.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Front rooms are a bit noisy and the air and noise insulation is quite poor. There was no desk inside the room, which would be convenient. Wireless internet access is available for a fee, but only available in the lobby area. Other then these mentioned, it was a comfortable hotel, clean and nicely decorated, quire new, and a bargain for this price range.

Quite a good stay, service was very friendly and helpful. Standard room was quite small, reminded of tiny hotel rooms in Europe, but this is only an issue if you want to hang around and relax in your room (which we didn't - so it was fine). Bathroom was clean, but I wouldn't say spotless. Summary: I would stay there again.

The room was never cleaned in the 3 nights 4 days we stayed. Mirrors not wiped, bath floor not gone over etc. Shower door was broken and kept falling on us. No soap holder in shower (broken) just a hole in the tiles, had to put soap on the floor where there was hair and hair clip from previous guests. We never should have been put in the room. Lots of scuff marks and dirt on external doors. esy to be wiped.

The hotel was in a good walking position to where I wanted to go. Staff were most helpful with information. My room was in a quiet position and had all necessary things to make my stay very comfortable.
