Rooms are dated and DIRTY. 2 bugs in the spa in the room, when do you think that was last cleaned? Tour of the grounds shows that this is a establishment going down down down with peeling paint, rooms that you peek in the window has wallparer falling off the walls, no furniture & the exterior rotting away. You are third or fourth class here, dont make this a honeymoon that you wont enjoy. We did it 30 years ago and at that time it was rocking all day long with something to do & we had a GREAT time, NOT NOW. Came back & VERY DISAPPOINTED. Told staff, but they dont care. If your looking for the describe delicious meal, eat at Burger King and be more satisfied. Charlie, who had to fix our no hot water explained that it had to run foe several minutes to come from the next building over. Without belaboring our dissatisfaction PLEASE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO!!! This was bad , real BAD. We did enjoy the beautiful surrounding that we took off on the morning of Saturday and explored some of the beautiful mountains and waterfalls & capped the evening at the Mount Airy Casino. Enjoy the Beautiful area-of the Poconos, just not Penn Hills or you will be truly disappointed. John & Nancy P.S. we had two plastic seats on our balcony that had mold growing in the seat and cig butts all strewn around, another shining example of the cleaning staff caring for you enjoyable stay, NOT

They got my 500 bucks for the weekend and now I feel ashamed for bringing the wife as a surprise who means so much to me to such a deplorable place. This was our worst nightmare, the place was creepy! The room was a non-smoking room, it stuck of ciggaretts, and the whole place was wet! There was no ventalation, and we were AFRAID to leave the sliding doors open. There were stains on the rugs, there was a blood stain in the sheets, the sauna didnt work, the hot tub was a hole in the ground, what there was of furniture was outdated, there were towels as floor mats, there was no curtain on the shower, the dining hall was seriouslly outdated, the bar had one person in it and no one was doing any of the "activities" over all, not as advertised, not worth the money, discusting and uninviting! It reminded me of a bad horror movie. We were out of there the next morning! Booked a room at a Comfort Inn and enjoyed the rest of our honeymoon.

This was the worst place ever!!!! do not go here!!!! so outdated and just disguisting. there was carpet on the walls. i felt like i was in a 70's movie. we left immediately after checking in. the front desk staff must be so use to this because they didn't even question us as to why we wanted our money back. this place was so dirty and nasty i felt like i had to take a shower as soon as we left.

This place has not been remodeled or maintained since the 70's. Some ""highlights"" worth mentioning - dead bugs in the bed, windows you can't see out, doors you can't lock, a shower that doesn't work, the list is probably endless. If you have a choice, spend your time and money elsewhere.
