The valet parking attendant when I arrived set the tone for a warm, friendly service oriented staff that couldn't be more courteous or helpful. The hotel it self is charming, spotless and very comfortable. The room although small was beautifully decorated, very clean and the bed linens luxurious and inviting. The restaurant was a great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing with a drink and good food. For a more casual meal, the Macaroni Grill just next door has a great menu and a friendly staff. This is a hotel I would recommend to everyone going to Salt Lake City .

Everything! It was an awesome stay! From the time we checked in, the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and luxurious. Great for a romantic weekend getaway. Stayed with husband, kids, spouse's parents (in a separate room of course) and everyone absolutely loved the hotel. Beds were Tempur-pedic, and we all agreed we need to invest in these mattresses for our homes.

We checked in and were given one of the small rooms, and since we were staying 5 nights we were moved to a more nomal size room that was great. Even the small ones are fine for a night, but when you can get to the toilet, desk, and sink with one giant step from the bed it won't work for long stay. Ask for the larger room if possible. Aside from those small rooms the hotel is fantastic. Staff was very helpful, and the valet parking is worth the fee and tips. You can walk everywhere you need to, and if you need a car or cab it is very close to the airport. Not to crazy about the temperpedic type matress as you just end up in a hole and don't move around, which may work for astronauts, but not for earth bound humans. Very peaceful, no noise, and will consider this our base of operations when we return.

The staff would remember and greet me everyday. Giving me suggestions on where to eat and meet with co-workers. They would follow up the next day to see if I enjoyed the suggested locations.

Gorgeous common areas, fabulous bed, free computer and printer. Helpful staff and free Starbuck's for breakfast. No closet in room and loud automatic fan in bathroom.

I loved this hotel! My Husband and I stayed there because we had to be at the SLC airport early in the morning and didn't want to have to wake up as early. The room was so nice and the bed was wonderful!! I am so happy with the hotel and the service of the staff. I would stay there again!

This is a nice historic hotel that has been restored. The rooms are small but the furnishings are very nice. It is in a great location in downtown Salt Lake with many restaurants within walking distance and a large shopping mall just a couple of blocks away. We were in town for a family event so getting to and from the airport and to the interstate was important. Because of the hotel's location, both of these needs were met.

Dirty/ took at least 20 minutes to check in, waiting on the clerk to get off phone. The room was not a 3 star hotel, we have stayed in 1 star hotel's that were better and cleaner.

What a pleasant surprise when we pulled up. Everything was better than I had imagined! The service was wonderful, the lobby absolutely beautiful, the room large and very sunny. We only stayed one night with our two children for a quick tour of SLC after a 5-day ski trip, but I was so pleased with my choice. Great location, great price and so much nicer than your run-of-the-mill large chain hotel. Would highly recommend to leisure and business travelers alike.

I went to SLC on vacation and took other writers advice and stayed here. The experience was very good. This is an old hotel and european modeled so the room are on the small side. The bathroom was definately too small with the vanity on the outside in the room. Other than that small grievance the room was comfortable and very clean. I had a classic single which had a king size bed which took up most of the room, it was perfect for 1 person but with two could get a little crowded. The staff was very young (I don't think anyone was over 25) but very helpful and very friendly. For those who don't like noise be careful on which side your room is on, if you face the front it could get a little noisy from the weekend crowd of bar hoppers. It is close to everything downtown and there are plenty of restaurants nearby with two being in the hotel(Christopher's which is expensive, or Marcaroni Grill). Overall this was a very pleasing stay and I would stay there again.

Charming and beautiful, friendly staff, clean, huge bathroom, comfy furniture, in-room pull out sofa bed. No pool, no free parking. This hotel was so charming! It's beautiful and gives one a sense of walking into the past, with modern luxuries. Willdefinitely look for this hotel again. Wish it had a pool, but in-room Jacuzzi tub was wonderful!

This was one of the nicest and classiest hotels I've stayed in, and I stay in a LOT for business purposes. Incredibly accommodating staff, beautiful lobby, great manager's cocktail party on Wednesday nights. And the bed...OMGosh! I was so pleasantly surprised to find the Tempurpedic mattress that was heavenly. Felt like home! Totally updated rooms. Small rooms, but comfortable. LOVED it! Restaurant connected to the hotel was also Fabulous. Excellent location, right in the middle of downtown, where many other restaurants were located.

We can't say enough good things about the Peery Hotel. The staff was extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and cozy with a very comfortable bed and a lot of great pillows. We loved how the hotel has retained it's original early 1900s elegance. It is conveniently located within close walking distance from shopping and numerous dining possiblilities. We loved our stay and can't wait to stay here again!

Beautiful hotel in the hart of downtown SLC. Very romantic and distinctive. Rooms are small, but it comes with the building being historical. Rooms are kept very clean and nice. Tempurpedic bed was great. 5 min. walk to great night spots and dining.

The staff was very friendly. Extremely small room. I think the hotel and the staff were nice, I wouldn't want to stay there again especially with my children, very outdated. Heat took about 5 hours to warm the room up.
