Our 100-year birthday is next year and we are once again going to have the large sign that once sat atop the hotel and we are going to replace the large wooden canopy that used to hang over the entryway door. We also will be working on restoring many of the ornate woodwork throughout the hotel. Overall, we would like to preserve this fantastic landmark as one of Downtown Salt Lake's oldest and most unique buildings. This fee will also allow us to become more Green through a number of energy conservation initiatives that we are pursuing.
