Very satisfied with hotel staff and breakfast. Room clean and tidy. Hotel a lttle older than I expected, although everything was in working order. Room was an 'older style.

Friendly dedicated employees. Room heater was too noisy. Conveniently located near I55, Staff was good, breakfast ok, room prices reasonable and good size. We would use this hotel in the future.

We were only there for a quick over night... we didn't use service options or have time to check out a lot of the extras but what we saw we really liked and the employees we came into contact with were pleasant.

We were driving through the state and stayed at the Pear Tree Inn for one night only, with our two year old. We got in late and went straight to bed but did like the size of the room. Breakfast the following morning was what we expected, and the dining area was clean. It would be nice to have some non-carb options on the breakfast counter, though. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful when we checked out.

I needed a basic, clean, reasonably priced room to sleep for one night with my dog, and this worked perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful, and it was easy to get in and out with my dog for his bathroom breaks. Be aware that they do not have anyone at the front desk after midnight, so if you need anything that late you need to go across the parking lot to the Drury Inn for any help. Nothing fancy, but a good value for the price.

The Pear Tree Inn was very comfortable and quiet. The beds are great, but the pillows are like sleeping on a cloud. Everything was extremly clean. I would stay again and recommend this to my family and friends.

We have stayed here several times and yes the breakfast has improved greatly.Close to water and right off I-55

The Pear Tree Inn was inexpensive, within a 15 minute drive of the Capitol building and other attractions, and close to many restaurants. My room was attractive, clean, and well maintained. The desk clerk was pleasant. The continental breakfast had cereals and sweet rolls, but the hot water for tea was not hot enough.

Whenever we visit Springfield we stay here. The rooms are always squeaky clean. An excellent value. That's all we care about.

"The staff was very nice. However, the rooms had a bad odor of dampness to them. All rooms had an odor. The wallpaper was coming off in one of the rooms because of the moisture."

"The rooms were good size and very clean. Staff was helpful in finding a local, non-chain restaurant. Continental breakfast was adequate to be advertised as such."
