The lobby is breathtakingly beautiful and the duck march is very cute and charming. That's where the good stuff ends. The front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. The valet lied to me about the charge for overnight parking (told me it was $19 total for my 3-day stay, turns out it was PER day - outrageous charge in the first place). THEY CHARGE YOU TO BREATHE IN THIS HOTEL. You can't do ANYTHING without paying a fee. No continental breakfast, no coffee maker in the room, I HAD TO PAY $5 TO PRINT 2 PIECES OF PAPER (airline boarding pass) AND BE LOGGED ONTO THE INTERNET FOR 30 SECONDS in their business center. The restaurant in the lobby has great food if you don't mind paying $35/head everytime you cross the threshold. The carpet in my room was stained, furniture was frayed, my view was of rusty rooftops and the beautiful brown Arkansas river (don't forget the rusted bridges going across said brown river), there is no convenient INEXPENSIVE eating nearby - not even a Starbucks! Even the TV in my room was programmed to automatically take me to the pay movie chanel everytime I turn it on (where they wanted to charge me $13 for a Pay-Per-View!! Two people can go to a theater for that!) The maid service didn't come around til 4 in the afternoon and the walls are paper thin - I was on the 9th floor and could hear a pin drop in the lobby. I've stayed at Motels in middle-of-nowhere Kentucky that offered better service, nicer views, more complementary services and were a fraction of the price of this hotel. Stay somewhere else.

Very nice hotel and staff. Initially assigned us to the wrong room - a hospitality room with no bed - but had no problems after that. It cost 13.96 for my daughter to watch a Disney movie, and room service automatically tacked on nearly 30% to the bill for various service charges. I paid for our stay in advance (through Orbitz), but they still required a credit card for incidentals, and they immediately put a $150 credit hold against the card; this wasn't a problem, but it also was not expected, so in that sense, it could be a problem for some. The steakhouse in the hotel lobby was excellent, and the manager there really went above and beyond working to make sure everyone had a good experience. It is a very nice place, and seemed from appearances like it was more fine dining then family dining, but they have kid's menus and a great lunch pasta bar and the staff was great. My eight year old daughter and I ate there four times in three days and it was always good. And the prices were not unreasonable. The hotel fitness center was excellent. The rooms - and the whole hotel - were very we'll air conditioned; it was between 98-100 degrees during our stay, and we were never uncomfortable as long as we didn't leave the hotel. And of course, my daughter loved the duck march, where ducks march out the elevator everyday at 11am and march on red carpet to the hotel fountain where they spend six hours, and then they march back at 5pm. The hotel offers shuttle service to and from the airport ( saving a $20 cab fare), and the service proved easy to schedule and worked well for us.

We stay at the Peabody several times a year and always have a wonderful stay. Very good location for going to the rivermarket restaurant's and clubs. Great room service. They have the best beds of any hotel period.

"I was impressed with the cleanliness and good condition of my room and the hotel generally. With no coffeemaker in the room and no full time onsite coffee bar, I made frequent trips down the street to some coffee shops 3-5 blocks away. Not optimal but at least that option is there. Also, one morning I requested a 7:30 wakeup call but got one at 6:00 am. Not great but, again, not the end of the world and better than no call. Staff was nice and tried hard to be helpful."

Hotel was everything i'd heard and more. Convenient to Riverfest and The River Market area. However, was a little dismayed to find out room rate does not include parking at the hotel. There is an additional $20.00 valet fee to use hotel parking.

"We stayed here for an easy spring break it was awesome the glass elevators were fun, the room was great and we were eating in one room and one of the workers was so nice they said ''Don't clean it up this is like your secound home, we'll take good care of you'' I really believed her the staff was awesome, and most of all the ducks were great to see come out and go back up."

I previously lived in the Little Rock area and new of the top-quality reputation of the Peabody Hotel, so when I planned a weekend trip to the city, it was my first choice. Most of my expectations were met or exceeded. The property is very nice, the staff is friendly and accommodating, the traditional ducks in the lobby were a nice treat. Our room was very clean with plenty of towels, a good view of the river and the Old State House museum that is next door. The only complaint that I have is the lack of parking. Valet is the only parking option, and apparently if fills up quickly because it was full at the time of our afternoon arrival. We had to park in a pay to park lot three blocks away and roll our luggage down the street in the rain. I didn't enjoy this. If not for the parking issue, I would rate our stay as perfect.

"Great hotel for a romantic get-away. Staff were courteous, complimentary and didn't bat an eye when we arrived in formalwear. We had dinner at the Capriccio and the food was fabulous; service was excellent. Rode the glass elevator on the river side up to our room and enjoyed a breathtaking view. The room was sumptuously appointed, spotless and quiet. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet the following morning and watched the delightful journey of the ducks to the fountain. A wonderful experience."

Had a pleasant stay. The room was a little small but clean and well appointed. Had a great meal in the hotel restaurant and listened to exceptionally good music in the hotel bar. This was our first time to stay at the Peabody and would recommend this to anyone.

The best thing about the hotel is the location as it is in the heart of the city. The beds are also quite comfortable, however, I changed rooms once as there was an unpleasant oder that smelled as if someone was trying to cover up smoking in the room. All rooms are non-smoking in this hotel. The next room didn't smell quite as bad, but you could hear the elevator all night long even though I was located reasonably far away. The elevator beeps are quite annoying. The food across the street is unquestionably much better. This seems like a hotel better suited for conventions than anything else.

Seeing the world famous ducks was awesome! I read a children's book about it and now I have experience the pleasure of the ducks! The hotel is beautiful and very classy. Glad I paid the extra money to be spoiled.

Compared to my expectations, the Peabody in Little Rock was the worst hotel I've stayed. The hot water was not working, the drain backed up, the stopper was lying broken on the tub floor, the wireless internet connection was extremely sketchy and unreliable, the lobby was dirty, and a one-minute long-distance phone call (my cell was broken) cost $13.40. The only way I'd stay there again was if the only alternative was to sleep in my car.

This is a nice property that has historically been better than this. The bath had visible mildew and no coffeemaker in the room. Little things, I know, but I expect better of a Peabody and any hotel at this price point given the city.

Like its two sister hotels-- (Orlando & Memphis) where I have stayed as well-- the LR Peabody instills in its guests the confident elegance associated with truly top flite hoteliers. When you want to feel pampered and indulged, you should seek out the LR Peabody. Its flawless amenities are augmented by the best location on Clinton Ave.Its lobby comfort, bar, and restaurant are a welcome haven after touristing in the area.

If you like mildew in the shower, long waits at the front desk, lousy food in the restaurant and being charged for valet parking when you didn;t use it, this hotel is for you.

I found the hotel management to be very accomodating and willing to make guest requests happen. The room was exceptionally nice and a request for a room with a view was met without question. I was a little disappointed with the lack of a pool or spa facilities but the exercise room was excellent. The computer access was more than satisfactory. The location of the hotel was excellent -- convient to downtown restaurants and entertainment. This was important because I was on vacation and not a business trip this time. The bathroom was nice, the room was clean and decorated very nicely. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

The Little Rock Peabody was in walking distance of almost all that we were interested in seeing. The free in-room high speed internet made it easy to keep track of business and personal emails.
