My fiance and I stayed here for our weekend get away. We stayed in the older side of the building, room was a little small, bed was a little firmer than I prefer, but otherwise it was fine. We liked it enough that we are planning to spend the weekend of our wedding there as a bit of a mini moon. The continental breakfast isn't much to speak of but there's a nice diner a couple blocks walking distance down the street that has good food.

We arrived very late and left very early, so we did not take advantage of amenities. It was clean, breakfast was very good, price was right!

The bed was comfortable. The shower drained slow leaving a pool of water at my feet. I was pleased with this hotel, but a clean shower and drain is an absolute must for me. This hotel fell below my expectations as far as that was concerned. Otherwise, it was a nice room with everything we needed.

My husband and I ventured out of Phoenix to get away to Payson for a weekend and were pleasantly suprised by this hotel that we ran into. We decided to give it a try and got a room in the second and much nicer, newer building with the deluxe rooms. We decided to get a room with an actual wood-burning fireplace, and this added a bit of romance to our otherwise outdoor getaway! The staff was very personable and helpful in every way. We asked about hiking in the town and they didn't know many details--but then 5 minutes later after we had entered our room there was a knock at our door and a staff member had researched and printed out a list of hiking trails in the Payson area! Unbelievable!...Other notables: Super clean, well-priced rooms, fast check-in and nice looking pool area though it was under renovation at the time with slight noise in the afternoon. Will definitely come back in the summer with my family!

Worst motel stay we have ever had, and we travel frequently. First, the motel got the reservations wrong and tried to charge us for a night we weren't even in the state. Second, the rooms were in poor condition--hole in the wall, unpainted wall patches, cracked and peeling caulk in the bathrooms w/ mildew stains, build-up caked on the shower heads, torn and shredded carpet, broken handles on the poorly-fitting window shutters (yes, shutters, no curtains), uncomfortable beds and unclean linens; We checked in at 1:00AM, got to bed by 1:30AM, and housecleaning was knocking on our door at 6:00AM wanting to come in! We told them to come back later--so they did at 7:00am!! Check out wasn't until 11:00AM!!! And when we complained to management, they acted as though that was normal. The person was very rude his name was N A he was so disrespectful to me and my family. Do not stay here go to a decent hotel and enjoy your vaction.

The continental breakfast was good. The outside lights were so bright that it was like dawn in the room.

This was definitely a hidden gem as it catered to all of our needs:it was a homey place, had fast and friendly service, clean & quiet rooms, swimming pool for the kids and a jacuzzi. It is located near most of the outdoor activities and attractions in town (including the casino with which they offer a free shuttle--no thanks I'll hang on to my money for horseback riding!). Also, The wireless internet access worked out great for me as I could finish my work while watching the kids swim without having to pay more at maybe one of the franchises in town. Heck, I was trying to getaway from the city life so I didn't need any reminders! It seems that they are making renovations so that's probably why they have very reasonable prices for a 2-star Lodge. They also had a free breakfast (continental?)--which we didn't have a chance to try out this time...we just opted for a nice and friendly cafe down the road named the "Beeline Cafe". I will definitely be back with my family next spring! Above all, it's the right place for the right price.

We have traveled to Payson from the Phoenix area many times just to get away. This last weekend we had to make reservations only one day before we wanted to stay there and there was nothing available except for the Paysonglo Motel. We had never stayed there before and were a little apprehensive about it but were very pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this little place to anyone.

Great place to stay if your looking for a pool/jacuzzi! They have fireplace rooms by the pool which are great for the winter and we will be back for sure! There's internet access in the lobby, and basic breakfast items available. If your looking for a hearty meal there are many places walking distance. I recommend this place if your on a budget and want a good nights rest! Casino is right down the road too! Good Luck!

The location was good. Room was small, odd shaped and smelled of old smoke. We were disappointed in this hotel. It was a 2 star but not the quality we expected. It was more like an old roadside motel. The room was small, odd shaped and had no amenities. I am glad I didn't need to spend a lot of time in the room. Even though it was a non-smoking room, it smelled of stale smoke.

The hotel staff was very kind greeting us before we got to the front door. They offer fireplaces in some of the rooms and we chose that but were not told that they could only be used Nov-Feb. This hotel is good for the price. The staff is very helpful and extremely nice. Don’t choose the room with the fireplace before Nov or after Feb and the pool is outside not heated.
