Our room was dirty, the bed was very uncomfortable, and our shower caused a flood in the bedroom. Staff we very rude to us when we told them about our problem with shower we were told 'you get what you pay for'. I think $100AUD per night is overpriced for a room of this standard.

For an overnight stay in Christchurch the Pavilion Hotel is perfectly situated and the price is reasonable.

Very Friendly Helpful Staff that made you feel Welcomed as soon as you enter Reception. I will always stay with them from now on when I am visiting Christchurch. I was given a room right over the entrance door which was an auto-open door. all night long and first thing in the morning the door kept slamming shut and I never got any sleep.

A good choice to be close to the action without the noise and bother. No breakfast and no internet even though both are promised. Hosts a lot of bus tours but they put casual travelers in a seperate area

Hotel is clearly not a 4 Star hotel, To me it was more like a cheap motel. There was blood on the sheets, the shower was not clean. The swimming pool was bearly a toddlers pool am not inpressed. But Staff there were awsome just not the hotel

This was a fantastic hotel to stay in. I have stayed in similar price range hotels and they don't come near the facilities and service this one offers. Just great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again
