At 300 dollars a night (normal rate) the hotel is over priced. I got 187 on the last minute special. I booked three rooms on the mystery upgrade and was there first thing in the morning to notify I was ready to check in. Not one room was upgraded. Service was a range a care and attention. Three standard rooms although mine was slightly nicer. The rest were in my opinion barely a three star motel quality. I don't think I'll go for that deal again.

Enjoyable stay in a very pleasant location. The lush inside, ample parking and airy rooms made a great base from which to see Canberra.

Found the pool area not cleaned, trash on floor and a takeaway drink cup floating in pool with lots of leaves, I chose not to enter, area and pool, was disappointed.

Nice tropical setting in the Atrium. They to tend to be pretty strict on the check-out time and enforce the extra charge if your running late, but still have good friendly service.

This was our first experience at the Pavilion, having stayed elsewhere in Canberra many times before. We enjoyed ourselves with the Studio, 3 course dinner & breakfast, so much at Pavilion, that this is now to be our hotel of choice when next in The National Capital. We were greeted by reception staff member (Sara) who was very friendly & courteous. Wait staff member Davide was most helpful in the cafe' for lunch & breakfast meeting all our needs & friendly to boot. Both the restaurant & cafe presented well & the food was not only generous but of a very high quality. Rooms were spotless, bed very comfortable & the internl atrium with all the lush vegitation was a delight to spend time in, for for a drink, coffee or just to chill. Ask us to give a score out of 10, simple 10 Thanks Pavilion, till next time

The atrium in this hotel is gorgeous and creates a real holiday feel - even if you are actually there on business. Unlike other reviewers I had no problems with noise despite being given a room leading directly off the atrium area. I would definitely go back.

The salt and pepper squid salad at lunch was less than satisfactory, but their breakfast was exceptional! Rooms were a little tired and things like the TV remote backing kept falling off and the iron was unusable. Overall the staff were very friendly and they offered complimentary breakfast and a bottle of wine with our accommodation package so that we delightful

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were ok. Clean but quite run down. Morning breakfast was below average. Quite a few people did not finish what they had placed on their plate. It also took a while for the staff at the cafe to clear up the tables for the next lot of people to sit down and have their breakfast. The location of the hotel was ok, a few kms out of the city. If you don't like taking public transport then it could be a problem.

The accommodation was clean and we were very happy with everything. As we were there for two nights they were going to give us a mini service on the second day but we felt this wasn't necessary. The room had one chair in it and we would hve been happier with two.

Noise level was overly high between rooms. Quality of tea/coffee facilties very average for a 4+ star hotel. Hotel lobby beautiful. Reception severely understaffed which meant a long wait to check in and check out.
