Situated on the beautiful South Cliff, if entering Scarborough on the A64 turn right at the traffic lights after BandQ into Queen Margaret Road ,which bears left up a hill, just over the brow of the hill turn left at the traffic lights onto Filey Road.Take the second turning on the right into Esplanade Gardens, we are on the next junction on the right, West Street and Esplanade Gardens.

My husband and I could not find fault with any aspect of this hotel. Although there was only on-street parking we had no problem parking outside the hotel at any time of day.

Weekend Break in ScarboroughMy husband and i wanted a nice weekend away, we got this at the Parmelia, we were made to feel very welcome, rooms were clean and adequate and the breakfast was very good. We will return sometime - Julia Rogers

We found the hosts to be very hospitable and welcoming.We will be recommending the Parmelia Hotel to anybody we know of who is planning a trip to Scarborough. The location for us was excellent and easy to find.

Parmelia perfection.Had two very retsful nights at this hotel after long hectic days. A warm friendly welcome, well apointed spacious room and a great breakfast. Could not ask for more.

Great welcome and super accomodationWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint English guest house. We were made very welcome the accomodation was very clean and the food good. The hotel is situated in the south cliff area and handy for walking into the town. Very reasonable priced and a welcome change from the faceless hotels we normal choose. Will definately use it again if we are in the area.

We booked a last minute break. This hotel was great. Away from the main town but near enough to walk and admire the wonderful views. A very warm welcome, excellent food - full cooked breakfast plus cereal if you wanted it.This hotel is not the Ritz but it is clean and very good value for money.
