Was NOISY... Trains Trains Trains

Location. Lack of cleanliness. Location was good for our purposes but cleanliness was definite. Staff was pleasant but hotel seemed somehow dingy, dark and on the seedy side.

The entire place smells like smoke and we hardly slept because of the awful metal-on-metal noise of the trains stopping on the tracks less than 100 feet from our room. The food was awful and the dining room smelled of old stale cigarettes. The only good things were the rooms were clean, but don't expect housekeeping to come until the very late afternoon, when you come back to the hotel to get ready for the evening. One positive was we decided to check out a day early so we could go somewhere and get some sleep and they did not charge us for the last night even though we fully expected to pay.

The room was very outdated and in need of an update. The curtains were thin and had holes in them. We were in a non-smoking room which was right across the hall from the smoking rooms. Our room REEKED of smoke. After waiting for over 10 minutes for the water to turn hot I finally settled on a luke warm shower - at 3am since I couldn't sleep. The towels were thin and dingy - I chose to drip dry under the heat lamp. The pool was a good size - it accommodated about 20 children who were there for a baseball tournament. The pool hadn't been cleaned out that day so someone came to clean in out. He tapped the debris (sunflower seed shells, dead bugs, and leaves) onto the pool deck and left them there. Suffice to say after 20 kids cannonballed into the pool all the debris was also in the pool. Overall, not a well kept hotel.

Easy to find, good restaurant. Needs some updating. Not to bad of a motel for the money.

We stayed at the Parkway Plaza while just passing through town. When my husband and I arrived, we were both very tired and hungry so we wanted to just order some food. I called the front desk to see if they had any good Chinese food in town that will deliver and they recommended a great place and even brought a menu to us. The staff was very friendly and I was impressed. It was very quiet and restful at night. The only thing that turned me off to the hotel was when the housekeeping knocked on our door in the morning while we were still sleeping. The location was great and I will make sure to stop at the Parkway Plaza every time I go through Casper.

Nice location along the river. Our reservation was not there when we checked in. The desk clerk was very snotty and not helpful. Our room was noisy - the appearance of the room was very average. The work out facility was not in good repair - machines with out of order signs and young children playing on some equipment. Over all we were not impressed with this motel.

The registration clerks were very friendly. The cafe was a good value. The venilation sytem was taxed with a lingering smell of cigerette smoke. The room was clean. The room seemed a bit pricey for Casper, WY.

One night stay. Drove back up the interstate a mile or two to get some good selections for supper, but had a very good breakfast in the hotel restaurant. It was better than the free breakfasts at other hotels, but , of course , more expensive. Loved the indoor pool, but the hot tub and fitness center were separate, across a courtyard, and we did not really get a chance to use them. Good room and a good night sleep.

Business travelers want to work out in the early AM (5-7). A cener that does nt even open until 8 AM, when we need to be at work, is not "user Friendly". The gift/snack shop, same thing, If you do not get to the hotel until 5ish, you will have to go "shopping" elsewhere for any forgotten or wanted items or snacks, as the shop closes at 5 PM!

Everyone was very friendly and the room was very clean. There was no free breakfast which for the money you generally have included and the hallways had a bad odor.

The Parkway Plaza is an older hotel that could use a facelift, but it's acceptable for business travel. If I was on a recreational trip, I would stay elsewhere - somewhere newer, fresher and more welcoming.

The hotel wasn't smelling good and the food in the restaurant wasn't great. Otherwise our stay was pleasant and worth the money.

This was a very nice motel/hotel with many ammenities. The room was very clean, very spacious but the TV was probably a 21 and was almost impossible to see from the far bed. The TV could not be turned so we had to watch TV from one bed. There were two sinks and vanities which was very nice, there was a coffee pot and iron and ironing board but no hair dryer. Seemed strange as all motels have a hair dryer. We had breakfast at the cafe in the Parkway Plaza and it was very, very good. Reasonably priced and plenty of food. The beds were comfortable and we would stay at the Parkway again. A great place to stay!

The Parkway Plaza was very accomodating with their shuttle which we used for transport to the airport. Although we arrived late in the evening and check out early the next morning, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

After spending a week in another hotel in Wyoming for the same price, this hotel was a much better value. Nicely appointed, great room access. The only bummer was the shower was a little neglected and the pressure and draining was bad, but the other fixtures and features were great. Surprisingly large complex. Pleasant breakfast cafe and very close to downtown. Walking distance for some...maybe not for other. Close either way. Safe Clean and Affordable.
