I had no problems what so ever in this guest house, also had a no lockout which was good, also i found this guest house to be clean + with clean linen every morning, all laminate flooring in my rm was clean, as well as toilet clean + sink in bathroom also no problems, the shower also tiled inside was clean, only thing id say about shower was a heavy person may have trouble as cubicle was rather compact, also tea making facilities in the room was fine, room i was in also had tv with remote which was in good working order but i never personally needed myself, as i didn't go to Belfast to watch tv, i went to explore the city, where the people i found were fantastic, very Humorous, also kind, now nothing to worry about as the troubles are finished with, even i went to the Falls Road + into a Celtic bar for a drink + found the people were fantastic, as the guide on the open top bus tour told us all is peaceful now in Belfast. Also bus stop is right outside the door of Guest House + buses run up to city centre every 15 mins which was only 5 mins on bus to city centre. This isn't anything to do with Guest House but the only thing 2 watch for is taxi drivers with their fares, ask prices before you step inside a taxi is wisest, as they will cheat in Belfast with the pricing + big style where taxis are concerned. All in all the Guest House was all fine, i had no problems what so ever, the city + people were 1st class, i will go back again.

What it says on the tinI was only staying one night as a ferry stopover, and it was fine for that. Surprised at having to pay in advance and there was a credit card surcharge, which LateRooms had told me there wasn't. (Single) room was small, and I wouldn't have liked to use it as a holiday base. Staff very helpful and dealt promptly with a couple of minor issues. "For Sale" sign outside, (May 2009) so this may not be relevant by the end of the season!

The first 2 nights we had a tiny double room with ahower no toilet it wasvery small and the bed was only assessable from one side If I have to climb over my husband in the night it rates poorly. Actually the room would have been acceptalbe as a single. The last night for 5 pounds mor we had an enormous room with ensuite, couch it was lovley. the first room was too expensive being so tiny. Food was wonderful. part from a poor startwhere the unutal receptionist wouldn't allow us t look or store or bags in the room while we walked to ATM for cash, the staff we friendly and helpful

The park view lodge is adequate for the budget minded traveller who accepts no frills accomodation with the price . We decided avoiding belfasts expensive hotel fees for a reasonably located b&b. Yes it was clean & favourably priced but you get what you pay for. We apparently had the best room in the house (&the most expensive). However the wallpaper was blatantly peeling in the bathroom. The shower was smaller than a telephone box ! The single mattress falls to one side. And there are just the basic analogue tv channels on the portable tv. I would recommend guests to order the irish breakfast as the continental choice consists of a poor start to the day. The house dog was also particulary foul smelling. We weren't particulary disappointed with the Park View Lodge as the view from the room looked out onto a lovely lake. But i couldn't honestly recommend this b&b unless your budget is tight & you live out of a rucksack. Just adequate !

You could gang far and fare waur as they say in Scotland. Friendly efficient staff, nice clean room and comfy public area makes this an ideal budget selection if you are staying in Belfast. I arranged airport transfers through the hotel and would recommend this service.The hotel also offers a comprehensive selection of tours that you can book at reception. If you are doing your own thing the bus stop is just outside and you are 10 mins or thereabout from the city centre. Breakfast was excellent.I did notice the hotel was for sale-so be aware- as the staff-and therefore the service -may change. Cassidys Bar is a 5 min walk-and is also recommended.Would I stay again?Of course I would!

The hotel was basic and what one would expect for the price. It was warm clean, tidy and comfortable. The food wasn't bad ,however for the those who did not require a full breakfast larger portions of what was ordered would be nice. If you intend to stay I would recommend you book the en suite bedroom

This is not a 5 star hotel but it does provide good accommodation close to the city centre in what is a very expensive city. The breakfast is as you would expect in Ireland (north or south) very substantial and the owners are very welcoming and accommodating there are a few restaurants near by and your host is able to point you in the right direction to one suitable for you e.g. I am vegetarian. I have no reason not to recommend it for what it is a well run guest house.

The place was easy to find .However although the staff were friendly the accomodation left a lot to be desired.The bedroom was only 3 mtrs squ. The bed was tight up against a freezing cold radiator.The toilet was on a lower landing.The furniture had escaped from a 1950's oxo advertisement.The shower ranged from cold to ice cubes.The dawn chorus in our rear facing \"standard suite\" despite booking a \" SUPERIOR SUITE\" consisted of loud swearing and door kicking, from the ground floor.The breakfast was tasty. We will not be back.

The room at Parkview Lodge Bed and Breakfast in Belfast was comfortable and affordable. The host as well as the staff were very friendly, cooked brilliant breakfasts, and were happy to offer suggestions and directions. The room had an en suite, and although it was very small, it was clean and serviceable. Tea, coffee and sweets were also provided daily. I would definitely recommend Parkview Lodge Bed and Breakfast to my friends.

Just had a one night stay and for £33 for one night in fairly central Belfast everything was fine, except the breakfast. Opting for the hot choice, I received a hard fried egg, cold bacon, tough sausage, warm beans and warm mushrooms. This at a time when I was the only one in the dining room. Serves me right for not taking the healthy option!

The hotel was clean and tidy and easily found in Belfast however the bathroom in my room (Room 3) was in need of repair with the toilet being loose and difficult to use due to its proximity to a wall, the sink was also loose and had no sealant surrounding it and also the shower did not muster much more than a trickle of water.The welcome at the hotel was warm and friendly but having advertised or at least offered an American Express booking confirmation it was dissapointing that this form of payment was not available to pay the bill. I would recomend this hotel to somebody on a budget that is not distracted by some of the areas mentioned above.

Easy to find, short taxi or bus trip out of the city centre. Room was very clean and tidy and comfortable. Located opposite the main water reservoir for Belfast on the scenic side. Friendly helpful staff.

We stayed here for one night and booked a smoking room with a shared bathroom. Upon arrival we were offered an en suite room for an extra £7 (£62 in total) Room 13 ! NON SMOKING ROOMRather a strange room though large, with garden furniture in it as well as 1 double and 1 single pine bed. A bizarre radiator in room which needs leveling by 6\".......Mattresses very uncomfortable, as we were only there for one night it was bearable, considering the price. The place needs modernising and has potential to be really nice. Staff were great, and booked taxis as requested. If booking on price alone give it a go. If you are used to something more up market, give it a miss.

Polish managed hotel in North Belfast. The rooms are not too big but are value for money.

The room was cold when we arrived. The lady switched the radiator on and it became tepid but never warm. There was a leather sofabed for my son to sleep on but no sheet was provided, just a duvet cover and a couple of pillows stuffed in a wardrobe. The room never really warmed up and my little boy had to sleep with his clothes on.I will not be staying there again nor would I recommend it to anyone else.
