Pleasant guest house with helpful, staff. Excellent breakfast choices.

A very friendly landlady but unfortunately the shower did not work properly and the valve o the radiator was brokeen off so we were unable to turn the heating down during the night.It was convenient located for Cambridge Uni as my daughter had an interview there.

We travelled as a couple with our 3 sons. the landlay was very friendly and had patience with the children. The room was spacious for our large family and couldn't be faulted. We would recommend without a doubt.

I stayed for 3 nights.Pleasant location, opposite park. Very quiet for sleeping.Landlady very friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem to her.Main road about 4 mins walk away. Buses frequent, about 12 mins ride to the city.Food plentiful and servings generous. Good range of cereals etc. Hot breakfast well cooked, not fatty, menu for choice.

The B&B was very clean and the hosts were friendly, it is good value for a place to stay in Cambridge. I think our room in particular was probably not the best value as it was the only room on the ground floor, next to the breakfast room and kitchen, which meant that it was noisy in the morning and didn't have a lot of natural light. Apart from that a nice B&B.

This really was a great find and far exceeded my expectations. The owner was very helpful and clearly loved her job and running the hotel. I chose the hotel for budget reasons as was travelling solo on this ocassion but would definitely return with my partner if faced with the same lack of choice, high prices and arrogance of virtually all the other major hotels at peak times. There was a huge choice of breakfast catering for continental and traditional English tastes, all cooked to your taste, having spent a lot of time in the Hilton hotels this really was very impressive for the price, to top it off it was was served overlooking the park with a smile! Excellent stuff.
