Made to feel very welcomeExcellent customer service. My girlfriend surpriosed me by arriving in Oxford that evening unannounced. I had only booked a single room, but they upgraded me to a double for free, and turned my money away when I offered to pay extra for her breakfast.

First ImpressionsLovely building. Entrance hall could benefit from a re-decoration. Breakfast area was lovely.

ideal base just out of the centre of oxfordhotel was good with friendly service and nice breakfast. short direct bus ride to city centre....only downside was i reserved the room through laterooms for £160 but ended up paying £178 on my departure date!

OK and reasonably priced compared to Oxford tariffs generally. Rooms a bit on the small side especially the en-suite facilities, so recommend for short stays only. Good breakfast.

Our room was clean but basic and wall decor a bit tired. Supurb place of you are just visiting Oxford for a non special short stay, we were expecting it to be nicer for a 4* hotel, but with free parking and pleasant friendly staff you can not complain too much.

A small single room but perfectly good. Quiet and convenient location for the city centre (15 mins walk or short bus ride). Very friendly and helpful manager.

I booked a twin and ended up with a 5ft bed - 4 poster in a small room. Somewhat of an obstacle in the dark. However when I pointed this out, I was given a discount.Very nicely set up bed with cushions, drapes and throw. Duvet barely fitted the bed - it would not be nice on a cold night and as it was my husband and I had a little tug of war on turning over. Breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. Never did find the in house bar tho.

I have stayed here a few times on business. The prices seem to have increased a bit over the last few months but it's still one of the nicer B&B/guesthouses in Oxford for the money. One of the only drawbacks is the narrow staircase to get to the second floor. I was offered help to take my luggage up but I'm fit and healthy so I coped. The room is always clean and a decent size. The free internet is a massive plus for me. I can't comment on the breakfast as I had to checkout early and so missed it. Great place to stay overall.

I would recommend this hotel most whole heartedly. Everything listed was as described. The B&B hotel was very clean, staff was friendly, WIFI worked perfectly, and was only a 15 minute or less walk to center of town (with frequent buses right outside the door and taxi service was fast and not too costly either). The included breakfast was tasty and most filling. Nice neighborhood, and not too noisy even though off a busy street. I arrived before official check-in time and was able to check-in early. They let me leave my luggage after check-out no problem. Even served me an ale while waiting for my taxi. The hotel and grounds were nicely appointed and also comfortable. My single room was small, but had everything I needed. The bathroom was down the hall but was private, large, clean, with an up-to-date tub with shower and lots of hot water. I felt this was a very good price for the level of service, location and accommodations.

Good hotel, friendly service. Could walk in to Oxford if you liked walking, about 15 minutes at a good pace, but an excellent and frequent bus service. Nice Indian restaurant in North Parade Avenue and real ale pub next door, all within 5 minutes walk of Parklands.

Very comfortable hotel, easy access to centre on town by bus, very clean, very friendly, great breakfast, good parking, good value. Definitely stay there again.

Good breakfast, very nice bathroom, lovely garden and setting in nice location, easy to get into town. Would definitely stay again. My single room was extremely small, but adequate. My only criticism would be that there was a bit of a gap down the door which let a lot of light in from the hall.

I found the hotel to be overpriced for what it was; yes I know it's in Oxford but the quality did not match the price.

Nice light airy room. Friendly service. Very good breakfast apart from the underdone sausage.
